This house was built in the 1970s and demolished only a few weeks ago. A new townhouse block is being constructed on the property

This house was torn down a few weeks ago. I can confirm that. I drove by it the other day.

The house that my husband and I bought in 1982 (built 1979) had the Nutone intercom system with speakers all over the house including outside at the front door and garage. We never used the intercom to talk to anybody, ever. We just played the radio and liked the music playing all over the house. It died years ago. Still have the speakers because they would leave big holes needing repair. Great video. Thank you.

That place is gorgeous, but not sure I could handle those bathrooms!! So much waste demolishing these houses that could easily be renovated. These development companies should allow people to bring all the stuff left behind to thrift stores to keep it out of landfills.

Not a fan of the tiles. I agree, wood is better. I bet they had large area rugs in these tiled rooms. Too cold and too much echo, otherwise. Although, the furniture would absorb some of the noise. Great video. Thanks.

Thanks Urbex!!!! I'm sorry, "Mansion" and "Above Ground Pool" don't exactly go HAND IN HAND!!!! And I believe the Tile Roof is Spanish Design. And I'm sorry, but those Bathrooms are HIDEOUS!!!!

It really does not make sense that these houses are going to be demolished.

That house is probably unaffordable for a lot of people. It would probably be worth over a million dollars. Also, most of Canada is uninhabitable so they are tearing it down & putting in townhouses.
