Yum so much great food in this episode! Amsterdam Avenue is very beautiful - and so is that park area, so many birds and seems peaceful. Craft beer and wine is always on my radar too. Those tapas looked yummy but the tacos at the end... now I'm hungry!!

This park is so gorgeously green … Love all the beautiful features… The pond with the fountains looks so so refreshing!!! I would also love to sit by the pond side in the evenings n feed bread to those pretty birds… I usually do that in Central Park NY…

I have never visited Mexico. Just loved your video. Thanks for showing the neighbourhood. It loks lovely. I will put it in my bucket list. Can an Indian license holder drive in Mexico in tourist visa?
@AdventuresOfATravelingDon
@AdventuresOfATravelingDon Жыл бұрын
I would think so. I didn't drive while in Mexico on this trip. To be safe I'd get an international driving permit. I usually grab one from AAA in the states before I go overseas and know I'll be renting a car.

Well done, Ben! The city seems a lot cleaner than most large cities in our country. It's beautiful, but probably would not chose to go there because of the elevation. Did you notice the rainbow in the fountain at the Plaza de Carbrera?

Gorgeous video of a gorgeous city. Thank you for taking us on this lovely tour. Truly inspiring. I would, however, spend a little more time and care learning the proper pronunciation of Spanish names and words. The “J” in “Las hijas de la tostada” is *not* silent. It is pronounced like the ch in Loch Ness or in the German name Bach (not a “k” sound either, by the way). It’s guttural. In the Mexico City area it is pronounced slightly more softly than in the core of Spain, but still guttural, and more pronounced than in many other parts of Mexico or nearby countries. Your vowel sounds need work, too. “Terraza” should not sound like the proper name “Teresa”.

I appreciate the lesson. I've been to a lot of European countries before going to Mexico and I find my head filled with different languages and pronunciations at times when I travel 😂. I know occasionally I threw a merci out in Mexico before realizing.
