I am in agreement with you 100 % . My sis and I want to do slow traveling around the world. We are fearful living in the US. Everywhere we go, we look for exit doors just in case. We try not to be out late at night, and that's not because of the area we live in, because its a nice small area, but things are happening everywhere and in every neighborhood. We just want to feel a sense of peace, calmness, and safety. Also, we're tired of living paycheck to paycheck with nothing to show for it. Knowing that we can live abroad where our money goes further and we could feel safe and content is everything. We are even looking to work remotely abroad hoping to leave even sooner if we can. Would be great if it was before the elections. We appreciate your videos..

Hi, I have an Airbnb in Pordenone Italy. Consider coming to Italy for a few months. The beauty of Pordenone, which is in the North, is that you can easily hop on a train and easily get to other places in Italy as well as other countries. Plus, you can have an immediate community, although it is currently small. Our hope is to build a black community in Pordenone, like there is in places like Mexico and Portugal.
@malikahonthemove3 ай бұрын
I LOVE Italy! I’ve been about 6 times and its is one of two places that I feel a “home” like sensation as soon as I land. Actually my Italian had gotten pretty good but I definitely would need to refresh and continue to learn, that too comes easy to me for some reason 😊. Thanks!

@@malikahonthemove Italy is wonderful. It is where I feel most at home. I am planning to get the Italian digital nomad visa next year. I waited for two years for Italy to establish their digital nomad visa. They took too long and I got tired of waiting and moved to Portugal. But it is finally out. So, I am preparing to apply so I can move there next year. In the mean time I go there regularly. However, although I am starting to understand Italian, I still don't speak it. Partially because most of my community there speaks English also.

It really is a nice place to live, and we love that we haven't had to make many compromises to have a nice life here. I hear you about driving -- we do really miss it at times and often wonder if giving up the convenience, infrastructure and level of services here in BKK would be a worthwhile tradeoff for living in a town/city here where we could drive. Whatup Malikah, so you finally getting out. I just returned from Merida and I loved it and finding it hard to acclimate back to Florida life. Every day I think of Merida, I was only there for a short time to check it out and I know how the saying goes about everything is nice when you visit. But the area I stayed in, I vibed with because it was real and I know I can live like this for a long time. I was there during some floods, right before Beryl came (I even performed a bit of magic). In my small opinion I'm feeling that Merida is not a good place for single people, especially single Black women. There are a lot of single Black women there and that's a shame because man we all need that love and cuddles. Seems that most of the Black men already have families, I myself have a wife and I must admit, I don't think I could get with Merida if I did not have a partner. Merida is so beautiful that you have to share that beauty with someone. My wife has not seen it yet, I'm bringing her down next month and I'm already planning on moving there. I've been following you for a bit and hope you find "That Place" because yo, I don't have a home either, BUT I really feel that Merida is going to be that home, I'm even looking into buying a cemetery plot for my family, yeah THAT REAL!

I’m glad you are excited about Merida as a potential place for your future! We all need to be where things fit us . You are absolutely right about being single in a place that seems more for people to settle down into a more routine and stable life. Even though I’m older and we all know most men don’t want us OG’s , I still have hopes for a relationship in the near future. I will admit being single has a lot to do with my restlessness, even though I am very comfortable with my own company I am tired of it 😂. I didn’t want to date a Mexican either. Thanks for watching and sharing, peace and blessings!🦋

Hi, I am a traveler from California, I have been traveling throughout Europe for the past 5 years, its much safer, Cheaper, westernized and no crazy racism or guns everywhere. Why are so many Americans so scared to come to Europe? I never had MEXICO on my list, don't like the culture and its getting more like the USA, Expensive. I am so happy and free living in Europe, Being an American in Europe is a privilege, no matter what color you are, this is different than what we are told. Europeans don't need a lot of stuff, they are about quality of life and enjoying time with friends have dinners and traveling around Europe and surprisingly, its way cheaper than living in USA. Europeans are not huge consumers like American are so you will not need much luggage. Hope you consider Europe.🙂

Hi. I want to visit Amsterdam, Portugal, the Netherlands, Albania, and Italy, but the one-way airline tickets are like $700-$1,000, and the Airbnb prices for these locations are insane, like $1,000 +/month + $100 fees + $100 taxes. 😫😫

@@yumyumkitty2104 tips; one way can be more expensive. Fly to a location with the cheapest ticket you can find in Europe and take local airlines , bus or train to the location wish to visit.

Well I don’t understand why did you move to Mexico ? Knowing that you don’t like Mexican food . Just sounds like you’re hating on Mexico . Maybe you should learn Spanish you might have had a different experience. I’m just saying .
@malikahonthemove3 ай бұрын
I moved to Mexico because it was the best choice for me to come back to the USA for family and medical reasons as needed, easily and quickly . I’m an excellent cook so I don’t “need” to eat the food but when I tire of cooking I would like to eat good food. I never had an interest in learning Spanish either.
