Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

One more thing I found out about the superman figure. The head sculpt with the red eyes, if u put it n light & then take it away from the light it glows n the dark. Awesome !!!

Also Mezco needs to work on their anatomy because it's generally wonky. The shoulders are too wide, and the feet are too big.

Been watching the Mezco 1:12 and tbh I'm not entirely convinced, I've reviewed before figures with clothes out of fabric and never been satisfied by it, but these from Mezco seem really good, a friend of mine is always talking about his Daredevil, maybe I'll give them a shot

i think you can plug the cape clips first before sticking it on the stand... then minor adjustments... it might help... why does the smirk head have a high hairline over the left ear?... it looks like had a higher trim at the barbers...

You know how some of the capes have little weights on them? They should put small peices of metal in them, and then the wire system can attatch with magnets.

You know what on hand it's clearly the best 6" Cavill Superman it's a perfect headsculpt and just a little paint wash brings out the fine details in sorry but all You people saying the mafex is better nah I disagree I have both and this one wins ! Mezco did a great job even all Three heads looks like Cavill The eyes are painted wet that make the look Accurate to his eyes and the skin hsd real Flesh tone looking at it closely like all The other one:12 figures ! Ya u do see minor wrinkles but you do on the Hot Toys because it's a real tight outfit but that's what makes it movie accurate and plus on a figure it's a bit hard not to see the wrinkles but it's not even bad .. the suit looks movie accurate and feels that way.. best 6-7" Cavill period!

It's a good figure just the hiccups on the shading of the skin kinda killed it since the promo pics even previous images had him have much more better skin tone also the pupils are slight not angled or the right size on the regular head and angry face on yours shart but the heat vision face looks great on that part. Lastly, to answer your question the yellow pupils are something in the movie I searched up images on that and when he's flying in the air going to shot heat vision at Doomsday his pupils turn slightly golden yellow-ish. I feel like Mezco did more effort on the Bvs Armored snd regular Batman since everyone one wanted that one like crazy and now we're getting the Knightmare Batman which you know everyone will buy that one like the bvs one. Also Shartimus where you suppose to up load picture galleries at the end? because the posing action figures song at the end always haves pictures of you posing it was just a black screen I guess you forgot to add them when uploading this video

The Cape is just a tad too big but it is the truest Cape of all capes for Superman versus Superman because it is supposed to be slightly transparent as you would see in the movie when he is battling Batman on the roof after he uses his he heat vision eyes to destroy the machine guns he walks towards Batman and you can see the fire in back of him and you can see it through his cape

At this price point I expect better eye paint. Here it's a flat blue, no variation, almost Marvel Legends level. SHF's print tech gives us so much detail in the eyes now it's hard to go back to this. Mezco spends so much effort giving skin realistic freckling and shading (usually), but they skimp out on the eyes. Same goes with the heat vision head. Solid yellow dots? Really? Also, which SH Figuarts are you referring to with the great eye detail? I've only seen basic eye detail that's on par with Mezco, if not a little inferior, and would love to know what you're talking about.

Yeah this figures does a have accurate eyes To Cavill and it has good realistic features it's basically a mini hot toys and honestly it's the best '6" BVS Superman in hand it's better

It is problematic that you cannot pose the figures and leave them in a position like the ankle. It bothers me that it left a friction spot on the cloth. The headsculpt is spot on. A bit hesitant on this line due to durability and wear and tear. I do feel the body they use is a bit too big.

Great Review, Shartimus.I'm not sold on this figure. I don't like the BVS costume. Prefer the traditional costumed Superman that's coming out from Mezco soon. The heads look good and I like the cape and sewer cover.

The only thing I find with this Superman is there should not be any gold in that emblem where that gold is is supposed to be silver I don't know how they miss that the color gold that they put there was just the silver reflecting colored Lighting on the set but in all truth it is silver

I can probably tell you what is wrong with the cape, in the movie where the cape meets the suit, it is very flat, and it rest on his body more than it does on the figure. BTW, i love your videos ShartimusPrime, I watch them everyday.

Generally, Mezco 's figures are the closest thing you can get for a perfect figure! I don't think there's any other company that can make figure to be both an action figure & a statue, and that's the advantage of Mezco's use of cloth for their stuff. Of course, not all of their figures are perfect, but most of them are damn good that really put other companies like Hot Toys and Mafex to shame.

a big fan of mezco one:12, I recently received my Batman Ascending Knight Previews Exclusive and it looks leaps and bounds better than this superman figure being shown. I have to say Mezco is getting much much better. The superman shown in this videos has to be one of their weakest figures in my opinion. It looks like it would cost half the price of your average one:12

I love this figure. Did you know the heat vision eyes glow in the dark? But I figured out why the proportions look off to me, and it's because the crotch seam is sewn too low. It makes his legs look short and the crotch/lower torso too long.

Yahzee Skellington um not really this figure is awesome best 6" BvS Superman out there even HT has little bit of baggy look at certain times when posing but it's a cloth outfit that happens with certain tight fit clothing on a figure and it looks better in hand and the head sculpts look perfect
