MEZCO One: 12 Collective Batman Ascending Knight Action Figure Review (Regular Version)

I have been waiting on this figure for a long time and I must say that I am not disappointed. That being said, it doesn’t live up to how hype I was to have it unfortunately. I really do enjoy this Mezco Batman Ascending Knight Figure but I was hoping that I was going to love it a lot more than I actually do. There are a lot of great things about it which I discussed in the video, but it also has some flaws. Overall, it is a really fun figure as long as you are OK with the different sizes if you plan on posing him. I will probably collect more Mezco figures just to have some that go in scale with him. Great video and review! I'm pretty late to the party with regards to Mezco figures but slowly workin my way through the collection and finally got this 1 coming soon! Can't wait as I have 2sovereigns, 3supremes and the justice league tactical bats but this will be my 1 and probably only ascending knight! I prefer the short eared look for batman but this figure still looks awesome!

NIce review. I don't really collect the Mezco 1:12 figures because they are a bit too expensive for my blood. I have the very first DKR Batman and that's it. I was considering picking this one up, because it's Batman, but I'm probably going to pass on it. Mainly because it's just too stylized for me. Now if they would just release a classic comic version of Batman (like based on Neal Adams art) that I would buy.

Nice! Found another impartial reviewer with good cam skills. Have added you to my stable. In many of your photos, the vinyl appliques look almost a green tint. Does it show that way in hand? And is the belt removable?

Denny Crane no it doesn’t appear green in person at all. I don’t think that the belt is removable, but I see a lot of people doing it. I’m not sure if they take it apart and put it back together or not. I’m too chicken to take anything apart with Mezco lol

I've passed on this Batman many times I just don't dig the ears being so long and pointy but I recently saw him for $50 on OfferUp and he is AMAZING ! And mine came with a custom cape it's so long compared to the original one, the custom cape and it going for $50 bucks I couldn't pass on the deal, I don't regret waiting so long to pick him up

I have mixed feelings about the head sculpt, mezco went with a classic look with this figure, the cowl looks similar to how batman looked in his first appearance.

Does anybody know what the bat brick is supposed to be for, or how Does it work? I mean a single brick for a construction sounds a little bit ludacris, and just throwing it at people sounds ineficient, i mean, batarangs aren't doing the job anymore?

I collect Mezco and Batman, but due to space and budget, I think I'd be okay with a DCC version of this look, I want that 2nd Batman from Mezco that's from the middle of him being Batman. Got Batfeck.

The Mezco is better of the 1/12. I'm waiting the Old Logan, Cable and the o Batman ( league of Justice).

Looks cool , but $80 for a 6" figure is a tad steep..Neca makes a 7" with way better detail and at most you would pay is under $40

One thing that throws me off is that zebra striped pattern on the costume.. really off putting and ruins the look for me

Prolly they wanted to add a kevlar look to the suit, which looks great in black but looks bad in grey. If they have just added a normal grey, just grey with no mumbo jumbo, even the pleather - like grey, some purple variant gloves (instead of the 1000 batarangs) it would have been probably the greatest Mezco Batman figure ever.
