***** It's funny because I have a story about that album: I used to listen to the radio a lot and I would try to catch this show called "Ital Vibes" on friday mornings at 3am....It was a reggae show. Well one morning while tuning in I noticed the regular program wasn't on. They were playing hip hop. I called in to the station and asked "Where's DJ Ben?". The dude told me that Ben was out for the week and that he was a DJ from San Fransisco named Q-bert, and he was filling in. I asked him to play something from the Wildstyle soundtrack. He said he would if he could find it. I continued listening and he must've played the entire Dr. Octagon album that night and I really liked it. I thought the voice was familiar and I realized it was Kool Keith. I recorded "3000" and "Spacepeople"....It was '96' and I never stopped playing the album since.
@bokay390010 жыл бұрын

Certain people trying to play up the fact that Doom was born in the UK...but there's no credible way he can be classified as a British rapper. He may have been born in the UK and currently lives their once again.....but he first moved to the States when he was still a baby and didn't move back to UK until he was about 40 years old...which is why he has a clear American/New York accent.
