Excellent footage! Such a shame these never show up on their home rails anymore.

I was glad to see an old unit still working on a Class 1. On occasion one of these units can still be found at Stevens Point or Plover but the ranks are thinning. Traffic here isn't quite what it was and sadly some of the better backdrop buildings have been torn down in the last decade. Nice coverage on a winter day. One of my favorite photos. Ive seen was a CNW H16-66 loading Freight cars onto the C&O car ferry when that area was really hustling down by the waterfront. Excellent Sound by the way on that GP which helped make the video complete

Thank you for bringing this video out of the "vault", Sam! I enjoyed watching this Canadian National Grand Truck Western GP9R as it performed its switching moves on 8 November 2022. Posted 16 August 2024 at 2128 CDT.)

I wonder if the Wisconsin Central caboose shown is the same one that used to be on display on I-41 in North Fond Du Lac?

Your scene composition is excellent! Not just up-close shots of the train rolling by. Is that a caboose seen in the background at the 13-minute mark? Nicely done and thanks for sharing it!

Manitowoc as the town in Wisconsin on Lake Michigan? I think you meant "Burdakin Blue" as when Burdakin was president of GTW he talked CN into letting GTW paint their locomotives blue instead of CN black and that color got that nickname.

Nope I’m sure he meant Battle Creek Blue.
