Thanks for this. Connecting the phone before starting the car or after the MG screen finished starting up has worked each time. I think the time I had a connection problem I had plugged the phone in while the MG screen was still waking up.

Hi Jerry. I have a brand new mg zs 2024, I have the ionize but connected, syncs on, all working great, I can see all contacts, make and receive calls, UT when I receive calls I only get the number and a “private number” text instead of the contact name!! Any ideas?

My android plays up all the time dealers can't fix it so it may be an issue I have to reset the screen hope this helps

Hi Jerry, thanks for your videos, they’ve been very helpful. Are you aware of a problem with a wireless CarPlay dongle? Tried 2 - after selecting Car Play once it is connected I just get a black screen with the name of the connected dongle.(MG ZS Excite 2023)

Laaaaaggggggg. I had to delete Waze as it was unusable. I think it's the car's os that's the culprit.
