Let's say MG saves Rs 2000 per car on giving a smaller tire. Let's assume MG is going to sell 1L Astors in the market. Hence, they save rs 20cr. These funds can be used for RnD etc. Also, why are you sobbing over a spare tyre? You wouldn't use it much and in case you puncture your tyre, get it fixed immediately. You wouldn't have to use it much then. That's exactly what carmakers think. Spare wheel isn't an important thing now, it is just an emergency feature. Also, if you really need that spare wheel you can always pay 10k or whatever the price it js to buy it,Nobody is stopping you. When you can pay 23L for car,10k shouldn't be a big amount 🙂
