Thanks Anthony! Hehe fellow South African builder represent! Yeah I wanted light weathering, since Char doesn't get hit and ace pilots would have their suits better maintained. So very minor weathering of chipping from pieces scratching against each other or from asteroids.

You're right, usually people tend to use red, that's why I thought yours was very original. I will probably borrow some ideas from you 😅

Yeah, generally when people do a Char custom, it's pink, red. Sure, Zeong wasn't painted for Char, but I imagined if Zeon stole the RX-78-2, analysed it to steal its tech, painted it like a Zeong and instead of Char piloting Zeong, he piloted the stolen Gundam with Zeong colours~ Go ahead, borrow and steal! 😜

Didn't expect the 78-2 would look so good with the Zeong's colors. Also, I still think the 3.0 looks aesthetically better than the Origin ver. Your build ended up magnificently delightful.

Thank you! The Ver.3.0 is one of my fav MG kits, hence I didn't paint it since I assembled it in 2013. Wanted a paint scheme that would be worthy of this awesome kit!

this would be perfect for an AU where the principality of Zeon had it's own version of the halo great schism between the spacenoid seperatist deikunists those who firmly reject ghiren's and the zabi's dictatorship and its goals and firmly believe in the ideals that the deikun left behind for a leftist movement that wants either a peaceful independence of the side colonies or have representation in the federation congress just like the 13 colonies, while the zabists are zealatory hell bent fanatical on fullfilling the annhilation of the earth sphere and fullfill the chosen race ideology, the deikunists are led by artesia and casval rem deikun backed by not only the crew of white base but vouched by general revil via earth federation. while the zabists are let by ghieren after he commited familcide and rallied loyalist forces to make a final run to conquer earth.
