Comet is best if daily city drive under 50km/day. I have comet plush and love it, been driving from about 3 weeks. You can call it a scooter or auto with a/c, half car, toy car. The ease to drive is unmatched. Just one hand and foot drive. I wish MG gave EPB, Autohold and Ventilated seats in its top model as its so expensive. Music system is pretty good even with just 2 speakers and tweeters. My other car is Audi Q3.

Which mode do you use ànd whats your best experience to extract max mileage? Such as Eco+Heavy, Normal+Normal......

@@anoopa607 Eco+Normal is comfortable and gives good range in city if you drive at speed below 60km. I get 2km per 1% in normal traffic with A/c on all the time at L2. I have also noticed that Heavy traffic with L1 A/c will drop range to almost 1km per 1%.

@@manigmaX hi, planning to buy this car. can we pay down payment like 2 lakhs in cash and 2 lakhs online , i.e not to attract income tax ? can u play youtube video on it ? how many units does it take to full charge? do they provide tyre jack? only one key is offered in base variant and 2 in upper variants , is it true ? do they provide 2 chargers ? one at home and one portable ? there is only white colour in base variant its almost 9 months you had comet. how many points will u give it from 1 to 10 ? ​@@youtubebrowser1730 hi, most of the questions you have asked can be answered by MG dealer. So I suggest you meet one in your city. My comet is running fine with no issues. In normal weather (20-25c), range is 200km+ without a/c. In summers (35-45c) its 160-200 with a/c (L2) depends on traffic and temperature. I drive in city only. In extreme winters (below 8c) range drops drastically to even 100 with heating on. I give MG 10 points for the mobility it provides, I just wish MG had launched Auto Hold version earlier.

Cost of charging is variable. Maybe this will help. At home, we take an average of Rs 8/kWh. (1kWh = 1 unit of electricity) The comet's battery pack is 17.3kWh. To charge it, you will need (neglecting losses) 17.3kW. Cost of charging at home becomes (17.3 x 8) = Rs 138. Cost per km = Cost to charge / total km run = 138/182 = Rs 0.76/km. For fast chargers, the comet will only charge via a AC charger and not a DC charger. Average cost for public AC chargers = Rs 20/kWh Full charge cost: Rs 346 Cost per Km = Rs 1.90/Km The route and battery information has been mentioned in the video.

If yes then the charging unit attached to your electricity meter at home cost you how much along with exact cost of public fast charger you use frequently for quick top up. Include these points in your ownership review of EV vlog as next upload.

I am not from Pune so please a request that next vlog on EV drive to death in Pune city if shooted then clarify the routes via google map properly along with public charger use part included with cost of charge units consumed with per kw charge use to drive after that at end of vlog with proper calculation chart is extremely helpful.

@fonsekhmaniya1687 like i mentioned, charging cost is variable. Domestic electricity rated vary a lot depending on the area, supplier and usage. Rs.8 is a fair approximation. DC fast public chargers cost up to Rs 25 per unit (Shell), and AC fast chargers cost up to Rs 20 per unit.
