MG Midget Differential upgrade - Quaife ATB LSD, Rover K-series Conversion

In this episode we're fitting a Quaife automatic torque biasing limited slip differential to an MG Midget powered by a 143bhp Rover K-series engine.

If you use threadlock, you must torque the bolt up straight away. If you torque it later, the thread lock will have set and the extra tightening will break the seal and render the threadlocker useless.

You didn’t set the lead in on the crown wheel or even check it.

Do you not need to check the contact pattern of the crown wheel to pinion?

Jerry Donnan you don’t need loads of power to make it worth while, especially with an ATB type, it would make a big difference to a stock midget 👍🏻

its cheaper t weld it up and it handles better...but each to there own
