Hi Shawn! Thanks so much for the kind words. I have that Dream Academy album. I like the song Love Parade as well. I have a Suzanne Vega collection on CD. This is probably the first time I’ve seen her in the vinyl community for some reason. If I remember correctly The Hooters opened the Philadelphia Live Aid concert that same year. Simple Minds were one of my favorite bands at the time, and I saw the Sparkle In The Rain Tour a year or so prior to that Once Upon A Time release. One of my earliest concert memories. ✌️

Great showing, Shawn! You never have to apologize about REM to me. I'm also happy to see Suzanne Vega getting some love. Empire Burlesque is truly underrated. As always, interesting choices and a great video.

i picked up that dream academy on CD within last year. only knew the singles. i dunno. just hasnt clicked with me. nervous night is pretty solid throughout. once upon a time is one of my favorite albums of all-time. i get the older fans werent crazy bout it. but i loved it then and still love it now. agree the title track is awesome.

Thank you Steve! Understood on the dream academy. I connect with most of the songs but definitely not all. Once upon a time I think is maybe my favorite but New Gold Dream and Sparkle in the rain are great also.

Simple Minds and REM are favs of mine. 'Empire Burlesque' is better than most people think.

Thank you Brian! I like quite a few albums from Dylan in the 80’s. Infidels maybe the best during the decade. I loved your Italy videos, very well done!
