The mgm in springfield, mass was hit also!! Workers were running around like crazy and on top of it all, a couple of days later a flash flood caused a water main to break! Cant use the water for anything, what a mess!! Hope they can clear this up?

I’m staying at Aria now. Here’s how it’s affecting me: 1. Can’t use $1500 freeplay with the offer I booked. 2. Can use the $500 resort credit for food and beverage because I can charge anything to my room. 3. I’m 10,000 points away from making platinum. It would be easy to do, but I’m not earning points for my play. Good news, I’ll have plenty of time to play the the blackjack and video poker at Downtown Grant tomorrow! Update to this: You are earning points toward your tier score when playing with your card in the machine. There’s signs in the casino stating this.

So I just got back home to California yesterday. Checked in on Saturday at Luxor. Late Sunday night after the football game is when all hell broke loose. No gambling no sports betting people couldn’t check in or check out. And if you cashed out on a machine you had to wait an hour Before someone could pay you. I’m still not checked out of my room 2 days later. They really pissed someone off..

whats really shameful is the other properties raising their room rates! Greed Greed. Greed. I wouldn't put it past the MGM or the other properties that are all in cahoots with each other and that they probably started this themselves. One would think that the other properties would want to help and be there for the guests that cant check in etc etc... instead of capitalizing off of it. Its just gross. Another blow to the casino player. First the players club rip , then the parking garage stab, now raise the rooms rates to 400-500$. Its sicken.

It is being reported that CET was hit by this same group a few weeks ago but they paid quickly and got back on line. Im hearing MGM is refusing to pay. They also pulled this off in 10 mins with a phone call to an employee.

Great job by the other Strip properties gouging customers. It's an opportunity to maybe win some business, but no they go with screwing people who are already in distress. One of many reasons I no longer stay on the Strip.

It's now Wednesday, they should have paid the ransom on Sunday and then fired their chief technology officer for gross incompetence. Any competent CTO would have had all the systems siloed/isolated so that ransomware is isolated to a single property at most. If this lasts till the weekend then I expect the CEO to get fired for incompetence also.

I'd imagine the pricing at other casinos is based on supply and demand so when the rooms start booking up the price raises automatically not to mention last minute booking is usually high.. Just a little constructive criticism: try to stop banging the table with your hands so much, it's very pronounced while listening with headphones..
