It seems like a creative choice to remove a lot of lines for Venom Snake. It makes sense that he wouldn't be talkative and jovial because his mind is basically raped and destroyed from having his identity replaced; that, or the medic is the silent type.

i really wish he had talked more. not hiring david hayter for snake was a controversial decision but i personally love kiefer sutherland as snake. his voice and delivery just sounds *exactly* like what you would imagine an extremely masculine older man to sound like. hayter probably would have also done a great job but kiefer just has a naturally older sounding voice. david did a good job as an old man in MGS4 but that was supposed to be a *really* old man who sounds like he's on his last legs in life whereas venom is old for a soldier but still in peak physical shape.

Besides being an easter egg for those japanese train stations it probably has something to do with the Patriots in-universe. The weird music in the Gray Fox hallway in MGS1 is those trainstation names but distorted, the Colonel AI says in MGS2 when he freaks out, Sunny, who was raised by the Patriots, sings it as a little tune in MGS4, Ocelot says it in MGSV when tranqed like "la li lu le lo" and then the voiceline here of BB/Venom saying likely something to do with the brainwashing by Cipher/Patriots

Ok so this year 2021 I played Metal Gear Solid 5 for the first time. I've not finished it nowhere near but all I heard before I played the game was "unfinished game" this, "Konami is evil" That and nobody could decide if Quiet was best thing Kojima created or the worst (for me personally: best but that's just me) then I played the game AND HOLY SHIT!! If this isn't finished I want to move to the parallel universe where this game got fully finished and just let my brain melt from how incredible it would have been because as it stands Metal Gear Solid 5 is among my favourite games ever made currently and the sounds of things if it got finished I have no doubt in my mind that this would have been the most detailed and amazing game ever!

As a fan of the MGS Saga MGSV:TPP is my second favorite game, the gameplay is super fun, and you can do missions on multiple ways, and always have some challenges what makes the game replayable, when i discovered that you can beat Quiet using Supply drop i laughed so hard, i think it works the same for the sniper skulls, very sad that this game isn't ended and the online is dead now cause it looks very fun to play.
