MH RIse: Sunbreak - How to Farm Nargacuga Cutwings Easily

Very useful video for somebody like me who captures whenever possible! I still need to play Sunbreak. I’ve only played Rise for 60ish hours but I logged over 500 in MH World, yet I’ve never used the bowgun somehow. So this is also a good tutorial for me on its capabilities!

It's pretty good for monsters with bad hitzones (Diablos, Nargacuga's Wings). In both World and Rise, the Sticky build has fun CC potential that can last minutes if you do it correctly. Very consistent if you use it normally as well. You'd just have to get used to crafting ammo mid-fight.

@@snunpai Thanks for the tips! I actually just played Sunbreak for the first time yesterday. I only fought the intro Daimyo Hermitaur (used my go-to weapon: dual blades) and checked Elgado out, but I am going to keep this in mind for a potential bowgun trial in my future.

Idk what happen to my game but I did success obtain 1 narg Cutwing when the quest completed but when I try to forge a Narg LS, I still only have an amount before I went out to farm... just like it disappear or I don't have it even when the reward quest showed me... Pls help!

Make sure you hit Return instead of Abandon quest. Return will keep the parts you break while Abandon will reset you back to how you were before starting.

Sure, I'll make it tomorrow. If you need to know sooner though, an early and accessible way to do it is using the Izuchi Light Bowgun. Zinogre and Seregios work too but those are later monsters. Get the Wroggi Helmet for Rapid Fire Up. Standard crit or damage skills + partbreaker and use Slicing ammo and bring Slashberries to make more. Should cut most tails within a few minutes with little effort if you use traps and flash bombs and the like.

@@JunnaFuture241 Only Dragon Piercer and the Melee attack do slashing damage. You could cut it off with those but it would be inconsistent and take a while. I'll upload a way to do it in 3 minutes with the setup I described. LBG has Slicing ammo, accurate hits, and Sticky ammo for Knockouts. It's also not particularly hard to use. The Tailspear does have a 20% Target Reward rate so if you're able to do Nargacuga in a good amount of time with Bow, do that for sure. You're probably better off ignoring the tail if you do it fast enough.
