MH veteran plays [MHW: Iceborne] for the first time

besides the mentioned aspects in the beginning of the video, the fact that fatalis was THIS overtuned and straight up was BIS for any raw weapon, was pretty lame to me... in GU fatalis was BIS for 1 weapon category and each other wep also varied in it's BIS slot, which was much cooler and kept multiple mobs relevant

Hopefully it was a somewhat enjoyable experience, currently on my third save of world/iceborne till wilds lol(lost my second save due to hard drive dying) tho I think I’ve made more progress in this save since I have the wildspire(guiding lands) on lv5 and prob gonna hunt a black diablos to get some augmentations on my Charge blade(I was originally a long sword main but honestly I like having a shield a bit more rather than a counter)

if u happen to be a "world baby", so started MH in world, i'd recommend giving other titles - especially GU, if u can put up with the oldschool graphics - a shot :) rise is fun for a whole, but in the end, world is the better of the 2, so not sure how worth it is to play that :p and yeah, except for the couple of flaws and my pc feeling like it was dying on me, it was a really solid MH title^^ since i started on freedem on the PSP and played the game handheld for like a decade, i gotta say i do prefer it on a handheld after all, but that may be nostalgia-based. sux to lose a save, that happened to me back on psp where i wanted to re-load without saving, accidently hit "save" and panic turned off the system, corrupting the file after something upwards of 500h playtime xD oh and if u enjoy seeing chargeblade shine, mhr sunbreak is probably a title for u after all, elemental chargeblade hits insane numbers there xD

@@projectphyrexia I was gonna try out the older MHs on the 3ds but unfortunately the shop is now offline tho GU is on the switch right? also yeah I’m basically a baby compared xD lmfao(I started on world and I’ve stayed on world since then lol) my first save had like 250hrs I think prob a lot less maybe like 200hrs my second save whatsoever had about maybe 400hrs, if I remember correctly I had the full alatreon and fatalis set+ almost all optionals completed so that’s a big riparonni on that, this last save I’m currently on has about 125hrs already MR84 I think so just a few more ranks till I go on my way to try and farm fatalis(I already killed him but the event version is horrible specially bc you only get 3 carts imo they should’ve kept the 6 carts cus he does a lot of physical dmg ngl but it could be bc my armor is yet to be augmented)

@@stormbreaker504 damn, did sink quite some time into world xD GU is indeed on switch, if u have one, i'd suggest it over any other, older title, as the handling is much more pleasant, besides the fact that it is the biggest in sheer amount of monsters, therefore weapons and armors^^ so u get the most value out of it and while not having foresight/helmbreaker for example, the weapons do have the closest moveset to newer titles otherwise, if u dont want an older, seemingly more cluncky moveset/playstyle, especially being a world baby, i could see how the old games don't have the same charm for you, rise may be better. not sure if i'd suggest that on the pc however, as u'll constantly and directly compare it to world that way, which it doesnt quite match =/ or u stick to ur guns and keep grinding fatalis, as long as u still enjoy that :)

very random comment but why not just use OBS to record? It captures ur voice automatically while also recording.

1. i'd assume it uses more resources than shadowplay but 2. and more importantly, do i not have the capacity to record constantly, and only use shadowplays instant replay feature to record the past minute, if anything relevant happened and 3. i don't have a mic after all, so there's no audio input anyway xd
