yes it can, however, there's a current bug or oversight with charged kinsect harvest. if you shoot the bug close to the monster, it will go super high up instead of straight forward. it's very janky, so hopefully it gets fixed in the future

Nah IG is gonna be AMAZING in the full game, we just have no skills, kinsect levels, effects, or element rn

However I def do see the issue: same as rise, we’re doing a lot but not doing a lot of /damage/

the damage is actually pretty good. rising cyclone slash and charged descending slash are really powerful and kinsect attacking with you anytime you use focus mode is nice. the main issue right now is controlling the weapon. it's not very comfy. charged kinsect harvest as well goes way up if you use it next to a monster as well instead of straight so i hope that gets fixed.

@@athos9293 valor ig was peak. this version of ig is taking some time to get some time to get use to tho. especially with kinsect controls

@@Pragles I love holding down triangle with my thumb to charge the harvest and then reaching over R3 with my index to control the camera

Since i play on keyboard and mouse, both charge moves are actually pretty comfortable to pull off but juggling focus mode and the kinsect aim reticle is so awkward lol

People are whining that you cant spam aerials anymore but to me IG just went back to its MH4U gameplay style, which was my fav

im more for ground combat too, but to be fair, i don't think it was a good move for capcom to neuter helicopter since alot of people did enjoy that playstyle. i still wouldn't care if it was gone, but they kept it in still so why change it at all. the people saying ig is dead because helicopter is gone are a little silly tho

orange extract is the annoying. they brought brought green extracts again so there's going to be less place to get orange on monster now 😭

I find the Ig feel really good the new combos are amazing and the ability to get all 3 Extracts is a pretty good buff but the the change of the infinity Air loop combo no longer there is a bit sad. My biggest problem is I don’t know what weapon I should pair with the Ig

no, helicopter is garbage unfortunately. id rather have them keep kinsect slash and diving insect spiker from rise than helicopter anyway

@@shadowassassin3448 i think you're mistaking it for diving wyvern. kinsect slash doesn't require a wire bug. it replace helicopter from rise

Is the tornado slash infinite loop still there, asking because they fking nerfed strong thrust (forward + triangle) into its weak form even with triple extract when all moves r supposed to be enhanced

i mean yes, sort of. you can do the original loop but you get the one hit strong thrust. however you can now go into strong rising slash after tornado if you keep the stick neutral which is honestly pretty good. tho the new charge moves are seeming to be very good along with rising cyclone slash. cyclone is a resource hog tho lol

do they let you craft new glaive in the beta? i mean, i know your title says red dau glaive showcase, but im confused , is it rey dau vs glaive or glaive made from daus material

you only get the one glaive. i just meant test as in trying the weapon against him.

@@rahimsaja2293 getting use to the descending charges shoudln't be the worst, but it'll still take some time. charged kinsect harvest is good but is very janky. getting orange is annoying atm with the slow kinsect and charged kinsect harvest has this weird thing to where it likes to go up instead of straight if you're using it near a monster which make getting orange on the body even more infuriating. they've also brought back green extracts which make it even harder to get certain extracts. hopefully tho faster kinsect won't be as annoying to use. triple up is required for enhanced moveset as well. sorry for yapping lol

@@Pragles no no problem, thanks for the detailed response. hopefully things will get better once we unlocked new armours and glaive. and hopefully will unlock other changeable moveset like they did for sunbreak. do you feel the distance is quite weird when you are fighting, because some moves looks like it'll land but then hits nothing..but im speaking purely from the viewer perspective.

Rip they nerfed iG a lot. This is stronger but there are lot of weapon better 🥲

Exactly, people who enjoy play IG do it because aerial gameplay and not for DPS since there are a lot of better weapons for that so yeah... they just removed the reason IG exist

@ infact I simply have far better option for dps but now i don’t have areal play style too. So rip IG . I hope campcom will boost IG demage
