The InfiRay Outdoor MINI MH25 V2 is a compact, lightweight thermal imager designed for handheld or helmet-mounted use. Its unique design allows for seamless operation as a handheld monocular, and it can easily transition to a helmet mount for hands-free use. The MH25 V2 is powered by a 50hz 12 μm sensor and features next-generation MATRIX III processing for an unmatched viewing experience. I addition to the features found on the original MH25, the MH25 V2 adds several highly requested features including an upgraded AMOLED display, an upgraded eyepiece, and onboard video and audio recording.
The MH25 has an iRay USA 5 year warranty that includes a 5 business day repair/replace policy. This warranty is unmatched in the US thermal industry and it shows iRay USA's commitment to their customers!
Flexible Mounting Options and Friendly Operation
For hands-free operation there are 2 mounting points designed to allow for a wide variety of dovetail helmet mounts. The Mini's display icons flip automatically when orientation is flipped.
The MH25 is operated by an intuitive clearly labeled menu and user friendly rotary button. This one button operation has positive clicks with each selection and allows for quick and easy operation without having to search for any buttons in the dark.
Power Supply Options
The Mini is compatible with CR123A, CR123, 16340, and 16650 batteries. Using 1 x 16650 the Mini will run for 3 hours, and using the included power cable with a 10,000 mah USB battery the Mini will run for 18 hours. DO NOT USE 2 x CR123A batteries with the 16650 adapter, it will permanently disable your device.

I have the V2 mh25 and also an AGM taipan tm19-384. The base 2x mag on the tm19-384 makes it a far superior long distance scanner than the mh25. The mh25 tends to black out shadowed areas pretty bad no matter what color pallete i use, even at distances of only like 50 yards. While the tm19-384 i can clearly see under shaded treelines even out to 500+ yards. And im nit talking about detecting heat at 500yards. Im talking about i can clearly see under the treeline as if i was using night vision. Even at 640 resolution, the mh25 produced lack luster clarity at longer distances compared to the tm19-384 at 384 resolution. Id say the mh25 definitely works better as a short range helmet mounted thermal. I can actually navigate in the dark quite easily. But the tm19-384, which is only $1300, is more practical for hunters. If i had to choose only one, id honestly go for the tm19-384 or the upgraded tm25 version for only $1600. Im glad i only paid $3999 canadian ($2800 USD) for my mh25.

I would like to add that after setting the sharpness setting to 4 on the MH25, the images at longer distances are much clearer. Tho, the shadow effect at longer distances is still there. I also have to constantly readjust the focus when looking at something at 50yrds and then at 100yrds. So the image quality is indeed superior on the MH25(when sharpness is turned up), but the AGM taipan tm19-384 is still the better long range thermal with its built in 2x magnification I don't regret the MH25, but it does have its quirks

@@yoinkyIt's likely because the AGM doesn't use an OLED screen. The darker areas will inherently be lighter on an AGM. For the MH25v2 to show details in dark areas, you'll have to drop the contrast or increase the brightness or both.

Very informative video on this unit! Have the same one and definitely struggles in high humidity conditions, run on helmet also for hands free operation.

Have you had any issues with a faint black or white blob showing up in the middle of your display and having to manually nuke a lot?

I run the Anker battery pack. It is rechargeable. I'll attach a link here: outdoorlegacygear.com/products/anker-powercore-10-000-mah-usb-battery?_pos=1&_sid=62da24336&_ss=r

What battery pack is that? I heard it had to be 5v output max, or it will fry it like using two CR123A batteries.
