I like it...though, I still find myself hating the standing system and some "softlocks" because of it that always pulls up my pulse because I hate the monotone chores they give me as the best way to befriend a given faction just so I can make, for example, a better Amp quicker I may have ADHD that isn't diagnosed but I ain't that autistic😅 (no offense) Oh, and the Riven mod trade. Man, do I lose my mind understanding that the mod that says unveiled is unrevealed and the veiled is unveiled in player terms if you want to trade. its wholesome . but i think u should have mention the arena endo farmers . they r toxic as hell i have never seen toxic people like those. thanks to them i dont know where to get endos quickly so i can upgrade and sell mods to make a bit of plats. if any new player see this comment then i would suggest staying away from them until u know the game like back of ur hand. but except them the whole community is really nice so feel free try it and the millions of tenno out there. ✌

A game that doesn't lock content or gear behind fomo or lootboxes, brings "exclusive" stuff back to weekly rotations, deletes slot-machine mechanics because a player spent like 700$ on it and has a lead game director that licks her nosetrail in the weekly stream, you can confidently say: The time was never better to start with Warframe. Warframe is like the perfect relationship i can dream about. Respectful , honest and loving. I played since the start 11 years and at "only" 3k2 hours as i'm righting. I never felt forced to play. I played "on an off" for all those years but never went far. Always kept my daily loging streak back in the days and to day i always come and check even for a couple of minutes. Never mist a prime frame but you also have more then a year for it. Back in the day i also played Wow , i still love it but warframe respect me, my time and money. Wow make you pay no matter what. You have a crazy week , don't feel like playing it , don't make progress , " i don't care give me 13,99 and don't forget next month" . Warframe on the other hand tell you. " you,re seek , don't have time right now, you want to play another game this week or month? No problem take your time , everything will be here when you comeback and even more". Just like in a relationship, when i feel respect for my effort i'm gonna stick with it, trought good and bad and of course i'm gonna support it. I really don't understand people complaining about the money side off the game. It's free to play and if after 60 ,150 ,270 hours don't feel like putting 20 $ when you get a 50% or 75% reduction for platnium. You are a awfull person. It would be like listening to a street musiscian performing a 2 hours concert and walking away not giving anything and expect to be free from the start. I spend a lot of money in the game and it feels right because the game give me back in return, every slot i bought are here to stay , every color palette i can use, all of that i can keep. The monthly fee wow take from me always seemed better spend on warframe, the game that always respected me. The game is fair. I always wanted to grind for my stuff and it really became my "sense of pride and accomplishement". " i got all of it by my hard work" . The game give me the oppotunity to get it for free and i want more for that it only seem fair that a give back and support the devs. I hope they will be another 11years and 3000hours .

warframes missions aren’t randomly generated. they are tilesets. even the order of the rooms isn’t completely random. every room is hand made and they have rules for what rooms can ajoin other rooms. this is nothing like, say minecraft or no mans sky. (both fantastically mostly randomly generated worlds, but nothing like warframes maps)

Warframe makes me feel like the people making it care about me. I've lost that feeling from a lot of other game developers. I started playing this game back in 2021. I completed the first story mission which teaches you all the basic movement mechanisms of the game and then the open world was unlocked and I was so overwhelmed that I stopped playing altogether. Then in 2023, I started playing Valorant because my friends were playing it and I needed a distraction so that I can recover from the emotional trauma caused by my father's death in 2022. But I found that game to be so toxic that instead of coming out of the depression, I started sinking more and more into it. That's when I decided to give Warframe another chance and boy, oh boy...what a great decision that was! I discovered this channel on KZbin and the reddit community simultaneously which improved my playing experience a lot and I actually started enjoying the game and all that helped me heal and get out of the depression. Special shoutout to the reddit community and to all Tennos out there...I have not a seen a more friendly, supporting and nurturing community in any other game.

@@rushdrift I have my clan playing all together TFD....yes it has some grinding...but mostly you can target farm everything from relics,weapons,mods because it has in built that system which is very helpful....they restrain you from building multiple parts at one time but the game is fun and the storyline is good and no messed up like warframe....whoever you ask about the story of warframe nobody really knows what happened....DE of course after the new war quests we supposed to go to TAU ..that's why excaliburs umbra mods indicate that 🤔....but DE I THINK they are lazy...not continuing the story of warframes going to Tau ...and they could do it plain and simple to travel to proxima where Tau system would be with our railjack..which railjack is something unique....I do not think there is a game like warframe which has space battles like the railjack missions...still warframe has the best example of how a free to play game should be!

I played Destiny for 10 years and bought every collectors edition on Xbox and the platinum editions on my PC. Spent about, $10,000 on my ten years including, $50 every season on silver purchases. I'm no slouch when it comes to grind for guns and armor. Spent countless hours farming catalysts in the Shattered Throne Thrailway before it was Nurfed, and you had to use Shiro Chi checkpoint. But I digress. I got tired of Destiny and was looking for a change, and one of my raiding buddies said to check out this game. I was hooked. This is what I was looking for out of Destiny and never got. I look forward to grinding this out for the next 10 years.

The RNG can be brutal, true. I had good luck with Harrow, not many runs for any of the pieces. But somehow I just couldn't get the Miter barrel to drop, and that took dozens of runs. The psychologically weird thing is that true randomness can feel... weighted at times when you get the same result 10 times in a row when you want the exact opposite.

When I first started playing Warframe, I had picked Excalibur as my first warframe. I liked him but wasn't sure he was for me, so I tried crafting a new frame (Mag). Well, I think I did a public game with a Dev and after a mission I got an Email saying that they feel like Excalibur wasn't the right frame for me, and they gave me a code for a free Volt from the market. I kept that Volt up until I got Volt Prime. With so many things going on in the world of gaming It's refreshing to see that there's still devs who not only love their game but will actively try to improve the player's experience

As far as the monetisation goes, here was my experience - I bought a starter pack for $12 AUD after playing 100hrs for free, I got some stuff and a few hundred Plat. I went to buy a weapon with that Platinum, and it showed (alongside the premium price tag) that I could buy it with the ingame currency instead AND that I had all the resources to craft it. This info wasn't hidden, or obfuscated. I opted to buy the blueprint with ingame currency, and have it crafted overnight, and hold my Platinum for another day.

Been playing for 3 years, nearly at 4,000 hours on steam... I'm still blown away how much better the game is than it's competition. I don't mean in gameplay and such, because that's subjective. I mean how the game is run, how it is managed, how i actually feel respected as a customer. How feedback is actively worked upon (praise based Pablo). I played Destiny a long time, and they don't respect their customers. At all.

The argument that ‘buying’ gear in warframe makes the gear un-earned is fundamentally wrong. I don’t buy platinum directly, but I do buy Prime Access accessory bundles and occasionally the whole prime access bundle. And guess what? I earned it. I earned it because my job includes climbing up to 280 foot towers by ladder in the coastal Texas heat at the worst of times, and plodding around working jobs on the ground at the best of times. My grind is often a physical one.

As long as purchases don't buy victory over others, I support the option. Grind at a job, or grind at the game. Your choice. As long as simply having the toys doesn't guarantee victory. We're good. Players still need to have good builds sure, but they also have to know how to make those builds work. It's not even just about what order to smash the powers. Timing and synergy matters in many cases.

I only have so much platinum now because I get the prime access packs enough to have stocked up on plat. I still actively grind stuff out though, esp things that HAVE to be farmed, like Kuva and Tenet weapons

As a recent First Descendent escapee, I can honestly say the Warframe grind, if you can call it that, is far less than the grindfest found in the First Descendent. Two months in, and I am MR 12 and 67% through the star chart but not feeling the need to rush anything. Cheers.

Definitely not too late to start playing. I just started about a year ago and it’s pretty much all I’ve been playing. 700 hours in and I’m working my way through steel path now. With all of the QoL updates there’s probably never been a better time to start playing. And Warframe doesn’t suffer the same content vaulting issue that destiny has, so new players don’t have to worry about missing out on entire campaigns worth of content.

The sudden increase in players is because Destiny just died. Not because the game is bad, in fact one of the best DLCs The Final Shape was great. Destiny is dying because Bungie, the company behind Destiny, just made a string of worse and worse public relations mistakes, and the players are leaving the game primarily because of Bungie upper management

I have almost 10k plat in my account thanks to discounts and packages that offered great value. Even living in Brazil with a weak currency, I've managed to accumulate a lot of plat, often getting 75% discounts. I've bought legacy and Ember packages, and my experience with the game's premium currency has been very positive. Since I don't have time to farm due to work, I feel I deserve these weapons and prime frames just as much as anyone else.

I'm a Legendary 4 - for context - and I think it is the best game ever made, for my subjective tastes. Like all games, it has its problems, flaws and even the occasional, yet rare bug. But it has a very stable frame rate, a liquid combat reticle + mocap implementation, a quirky and addictive lore/backstory and one of the most flexible, atomic and interesting modding and crafting systems. And for a game with algorithmic maps, it is still interesting and stimulating to me after all these years. I actually didn't like it enough to play it in the early years - tried it, thought it had potential, but it didn't quite seal the deal. I started again right after the War Within and haven't stopped playing since. Thanks for all the great channel content - this is one of my favorite Warframe sources. P.S. Like others, I played D2 but favored Warframe due to the greater focus on frame abilities and varied combat tactics.

What i really like about warframe is that new warframes and weapons are not even that hard to get. You can get them without even spending money or playing for hours. i started the construction of sevagoth prime 2 days after it came out. Its probably one of the only game like that

Pre-Alpha and beyond tester for Warframe, I came across this game as just an ad for a temp testing job, even after i was done with the Pre-Alpha testing I still continued to play and have been since then, Warframe is 100 percent my comfort game and Will stay that way till the day I pass away. I started warframe the day you posted this video, I’m starting to understand it kinda as an ex destiny player, the material grinding system at least feels similar, honestly my biggest complaints have been about how restricting the game feels. You don’t get many weapon slots, or warframe slots, and finding a weapon that feels good is.. hard. But I’m guessing that really isn’t an issue after a couple weeks? Aside from the above I’m having a great experience so far.

Having played both, I'll keep it real- there are very few weapons that even approach an average destiny weapon. Part of that comes from it being a third person shooter, I think, but also unfortunately a lot of the early game weapons... just kinda suck. I'd recommend trying out the Lex early on, its kinda close to a destiny hand cannon. There's a bow you get from a lategame quest called the Nataruk which feels about as good if not better than Destiny bows do. The real sauce comes from the Incarnon weapons which you can get access to from a late game activity called "Steel Path circuits". Not gonna get into all of it here (google and youtube guides are your best friend for Warframe in general) but the Incarnon weapons are probably the most comparable to Destiny exotics. Build up a meter by landing headshots and then you have a giga supercharged version of that weapon that behaves completely differently from its normal version. For example, the Lex I mentioned earlier can be turned into an Incarnon version that, when charged, shoots refrigerator- sized bullets that one shot basically anything you shoot it at if you build it out with the right stats.

the way you get more slots is by example, maxing frames and wapons to upgrade your mastery rank, each rank you will get some new addtional slots for frames and weapons, sometimes you can geth them to through the "seasonPass" aka nightwave. but the best way is just to maxing weapons and frames. Playing the story helps too. Oh and dont forget your first big approach should be to complete the starsystem, with that you will enable the steelpath mode(It is in doom so called"Nightmare Mode") and you will be able to hop on any normal starchart mission with others.💪

Got in 6/7 days ago, havent spent a dime, having a blast. The action/gameplay side is pure dopamin. If you like micromanagement and a multitude of systems from your pg build to your freakin spaceship, its pure dopamine. There is a lot of time/gate keeping, but there's soo much to do that once youre done with one thing youve unlocked the next. After a week Im completely won over, and I decided to spend 20 bucks on the game. No gacha system, I payed for what I wanted, and I got what I wanted. The fact that this game is free at this level of quality is just mindblowing.

Always keep yourself challenged with content. There will be moments where you get just the right mod to push you into new heights. Mods like galvanized chamber literally trivialize massive portions of the game. Stay F2P, try not to buy mods. Essentially, keep yourself from hitting the power ceiling by doing everything legit. I've hit the point in warframe where any enemy under lvl 120 can be 1 tapped by any single weapon on my frame. The problem with being at the summit is that there is nothing up there. You will have years of fun with warframe so long as you don't hit that ceiling. I love that game with a burning passion, but I (at least for the time being) cannot be bothered to play anymore. Doing 10s of millions of DPS whilst also having the ability to completely armor strip any enemy in the game is legitimately not fun.

Man... I've been playing since 2014. I have almost everything in the game and I've only sunk in 47 USD. Trading premium currency is what kept me hooked. Unfortunately, I've been trading my time instead and it's something I can't get back, but I've had a lot of fun and that's one important aspect. I've never played too much that I've burned myself out and it's another reason why I still play to this day.

There has never been a better time to get into Warframe. When I first joined it would've taken a lot of grind to get to the real meat of the story and world (Second Dream), and there wasn't that much besides the Plains of Eidolon. But since then they've added Fortuna, Deimos, The Deadlock Protocol, the Jupiter beautification, Duviri, and reduced a lot of the grind to get to the good stuff, in part because there's a treasure trove of good stuff before Second Dream now.

A quarter into the video, I realize that if Warframe ever died and there were to be another game in its stead, it would not exactly benefit from a sequel, it would actually be a better idea to play a Prequel. In some way, 1999 will serve as lore or an alternate universe to our current story, but in essence, there's a lot to the Warframe lore that is even juicier, begging to be explored. For one, we barely know about the Dax, Sentients, or Orokin unless you read through the hidden lore, but it's still a puzzle. Another one is that we'd like to actually experience first hand the Warframe lore, but in addition, I think the biggest ace up DEs sleeve is the Jordan Karis experience. I think everyone can agree on all of this.

Eh, kinda disagree. They throw so many things at you after the tutorial, and aren't really clear about any type of progression or really how to acquire new frames/weapons without buying from the market. Not to mention the amount of times new players are thrown into matchmade games with high MR players who speed run the map or nuke the defense/survival waves so fast the newbie has literally 0 clue what the mission is for/about/how to complete it. I was watching my brother play through earth's nodes and any non-quest node was filled with those types of players or got filled super fast after he had started the mission. Yeah, he could've played on solo or invite only, but why would he do that when it's marketed as a co-op looter shooter AND has matchmaking on by default.

Just don't stay silent all the time and trust me, your going to have a good time. Everyone (imo) is friendly to newbies and will only be pissed if your actually trolling.

as a plus- the community of this game is so incredibly nice I have never met a toxic person in the game.I have met many brand new player who was accidently sabotaged a mission but I knew they were just very new, so you cant blame them on the more complicated SPY missions| Plus I was stuck on a mission I couldn't beat and in like 30 seconds of asking the chat, boom very cool gamer helped me out :) thank you nameless tenno! the worst thing as a new player tho- is getting platinum. it took me till I had like idk 300 hours in the game to start trading so that basically meant I was stuck with my 3 warframes and had to keep swapping them out when I wanted a new one.(rest in peace rhino and ember) it kinda sucked. but now that in just recent times ive started trading alot and have become semi-competent, I already have 10 warframes. and my new goal is to get every regular warframe :) I already got nidus and that gave my lucky foot a HUGE ego boost teehee!

I have few friends who are telling me for years they are ''too late'' for the warframe, but now when I realize in these 3-4 years they could've catch up up to now and enjoy it further, since they never considered it even, they are still getting ''more late'' as times go on. I believe this is problematic for the ongoing live service game which doesn't really explain it's content, everything is just there after the tutorial. edit: maybe some quest system would be helpful. Like start new quest which says: Craft Nezha! Reward for crafting Nezha is (whatever). But you make it active quest and then people would investigate how to do it and then discover the world of clans and work towards some goal. The quests could go for any type of the content in smaller doses.

"The New Strange" tutorializes the Synthesis scanning system, Cephalon Simaris, and teaches players how to construct a full Warframe from scratch. "The Duviri Paradox" tutorializes the Duviri open world area and progression system. "A Man of Few Words" tutorializes CLEM. Over half the quests in the game are tutorials or include some sort of tutorial for something in the game. There's even more stuff tutorialized in other quests but I will not mention it because it starts to get difficult to avoid spoilers with those. Unless your friends have never played video games before, much of the game is very intuitive. The modding console also has a button labeled "Tutorial" at the bottom that guides them through that - ignoring that is on the player if they are struggling still. The market has a pop-up window they have to manually close that explains how the market works (and how it isn't just a microtransaction store) - closing that without reading it is on the player. There's an entire codex filled with information in the front of the ship, that you have to go to just to select your quests - refusing to look at stuff in there is on the player. There's an AI bot in chat called [DE] Kickbot who will literally answer questions and tell you where to farm things if you ask it - this could be tutorialized, but it also just sits in chat and autoreplies publicly to players asking questions in chat - choosing not to ask questions in chat is the fault of the player, not devs - they even went out of their way to design an entire AI bot to answer common questions. Frankly, the wiki that everyone likes to say is required to play the game is not needed at all unless you're looking for something highly specific and nobody in chat knows where to get it off the top of their heads. The problem isn't that the game doesn't teach you anything, it's that it doesn't handhold constantly, and does place trust in the player's intelligence to figure it out. Some people struggle figuring things out on their own, and simply being told what they're supposed to figure out, without being guided every step of the way is a struggle for them. Others would feel like their intelligence is insulted and they're being treated like this is their first video game ever if the same level of necessary information for some is force on others. So I'm just curious: is this your friends first time playing a video game or are they just dumb? Because if it's neither of those, they are making excuses to not play, and blaming the game for a fault it does not have to justify not trying it out.

@@jazzyjswift you don't have to explain it to me, I have over 2k hours on all platforms wf is at. I feel like you missed the point of my post. It is not about how to play the game, but it is about where to progress next. I didn't really mean quest as those like we have already, I meant some goals that are bigger than nightwave, but smaller than side quest, just to show the player where he should invest his 10-20 next hours, after finishing tutorial. I don't know if it's still like that, but when I was just starting, game made me go to POE and it was horrible experience, as clearly I was far from ready for it. Do I go back to POE after tutorial? Do I try to collect as many warframes as possible? Do I just speed through main quests to reach end game? Do I need to grind primes? Do I care about my focus as mr7? Why are some people mr20+ but I'm stuck at mr7? Why is there hundreds of weapons, which one should I work towards? The one everybody recommending is not available to me yet, I need to finish this specific main quest and be mr15. What should I do until then? Why is no one joining my public missions? Do I care about flying in space (archwing)? Why is there multiple open worlds and should I grind them now or wait for later? Which one should I focus on? Bounties are too hard for me, I need to become stronger! Where do I go to become stronger? Majority of regular missions I have to do alone, why is no one joining again? And so so many more questions that new players might ask themselves before possibly giving up.

@@ljiljankocurcic8893 wf never held the players hand. if you wanted to learn, you had to look it up. its overwhelming, yes, but it also forces you to learn a lot of things. thats whats missing from other more linear games imo, and thats why i played warframe for as long as i have... it pulled me in with its complexity. if i didnt know something, i looked it up. i was overwhelmed at every point but it forced me to learn. now, i know thats not for everybody, but a metric fuckton of people play this game all the time, so it seems like its doing something right. and honestly, if you want to learn a mechanic, you can in like half an hour. you go to wiki, you go to youtube, you watch or read a guide. thats it, then you know.. if you dont want to invest that time in the initial grind before you actually get to the point where you can do whatever, then maybe the game isnt for you. (you = generalizing) im sorry, but literally every point you made can be answered by "look it up online". wf isnt a simple game, noone just starts and knows everything about it after a 10min tutorial. thats why we all play it... you just have to devote some more time to it, it is what it is. also no shame in giving up if its so overwhelming. i almost did but i had time to invest, so i did and feel great about it now. i will say one thing tho... if a weapon is not available to you yet, literally 10 other at least as powerful weapons are. you can learn this in chat, online, everywhere. theres 500 weapons in the game and most of them arent for higher MRs. i played for a couple of months on and off and got to mr8 i think... then i stopped for a while and when i started again, i got to mr20 in like a month. i got there because i realized weapons in general dont matter. you can use mostly whatever and you mod it in literally one of two ways. after that, it was a breeze, solo or otherwise. i learned this on overframe after looking at builds. also on youtube... i will say that i did pay for some plat at 75% off, which is what i suggest everyone to do. the game throws coupons at you all the time. and that one time 4300 plat is enough to kick your ass to higher MRs easily, where it really becomes fun af. and i feel no shame about that as it becomes easy to farm plat very soon and recoup your investment in a very short time. im not attacking you, im just saying that this game requires a huge initial time investment to become incredibly fun after a few (hundred) hours. lol. and thats, understandably, just not for everyone.
