For the second build, I'd pass on roar and instead use tharros or terrify. Nidus's Stomp always seems to benefit more from armor strip than buffing with roar at high levels. You could also go for all red shards and replace arcane ice storm with arcane battery for a pretty massive energy pool that never runs out. I'd prefer not to rely on arcane ice storm too much considering the proboscis cernos has such low ammo. I think this would make it a bit more consistent.

Re Arcane Ice Storm: Nautilus Prime + Verglas Prime, mod it with no element since it's innate cold (or mod corrosive+cold), put duplex bond on nautilus and shivering contagion on verglas. This will freeze the entire room, and you can take the shivering contagion off the cernos. It will still function normally with it only on the sentinel weapon! EDIT: Beware that you can not equip Umbral Vitality and Parasitic Vitality augment at the same time, so be careful if you umbra forma him and want parasitic.

MH, I have a little idea taken from another warframe KZbinr, the tenet exec/sampotes and their heavy slam attacks, paired with melee afflictions. Warframe abilities that proc status effects will be stupid strong when enemies are hit with a heavy slam attack from one of the two. Makes Dante’s dark verse nuke actually nuke, makes saryn’s toxic lash stupid strong, frost can one shot, zephyr and a status weapon will one shot, you get the idea.

Ok I would like to share a neat build of mine for nidus. Subsumed over 4 with eclipse. Eclipse can give damage mitigation 75% or damage buff. Perfect for giving yourself damage mitigation early, and for later when undying procs. And after you have a good amount of mutation stacks, you use eclipse for damage boosts. Also like.... eclipse is basically the only direct damage reduction skill subsumable so its great if you want to give a frame tankiness.

For the first build a Dual Toxocyst incarnon with seeker could be really nice, it fires really fast thanks to it's passive, punch through makes ricochets better when grouped with larva and lets you stack even more damage with secondary deadhead/galvanized mods since ricochets target heads.

Protip, Moas have a mod precept called Blast Shield which increases their overshields to 3k+ and they can continuously and easily maintain Reinforced Bond with an almosy 100% uptime.

I like using the vasca kavat with my Nidus. The way I have things setup with it, it has crazy health and armor and heals me whenever it deals damage, and is able to armor strip things for me

@@laynegrey2003 Link Health and Link Armor are the two key mods. Buff up your own health and armor and you'll find that with those mods, your cat will oftentimes outlive you. Which will be very helpful due to the transfusion mod unique to vascas. I also use synth deconstruct, venom teeth and/or flame gland, hunter recovery (if you have the hunter adrenaline mod for your Warframe use that too) because it'll heal you by a percentage of the damage your cat does, swipe, sharpened claws, and Maul for base cat damage. For miscellaneous mods depending on play style I would also suggest pack leader, fetch, territorial aggression, medi-pet kit, and loyal companion

Btw a nice QoL is that the parasitic linked Traget can still charge your incarnon weapons. This makes headshots effortles as you just have to turn to your link every now and then and shoot its head to charge your incarnon meter again.

Also fun fact: if you have decoy and the augment (Damaged decoy) and cast it on the linked enemy. Every enemy will target the linked target instead which results in enemies constantly being primed

His 4th ability with the augment makes you swim in stacks, healthgating is simple with that combo not clunky. You get 2-3 ticks per mob hit. You can get 15 STACKS with a single larva and stomp while standing in water safari. It scales with strength and you get obscene stacks from a few seconds of it. Only frustrating in groups with someone else nuking everything, perfect in solo play though. He gets stronger the more enemies you're facing. Not sure how else I'd play him to survive tbh. Can't shield gate, can't gain energy from damage to health if you make your own overguard so that's out. He's a tanky boy. With this augment you can literally stand in water safari and face tank everything lol. Anyway continuing the video let's see what you got :3

I actually subsumed Dispensary to his Larva to solve his energy issue. and survivability issue. One Tau Purple shard for a pseudo equilibrium so whenever I pick up health orbs it gives energy and vice versa. No need for Hunter Adrenaline. Health Conversion for a flat +1500 armor which is up kept by the constant health orbs. Energy Conversion for a free +50% power strength. Nidus is strong against groups but weak against bosses so Dispensary really helps him fill that hole.

I’ve always loved Indy’s since he was the first and at the moment is the only frame with higher than 100% in an ability stat. That base 15% boost goes a long way. I dislike that teeming virulence only works for primaries, and I wish that parasitic vitality was not a vitality mod. I find the cooldown on his undying passive is too much of a nerf to be worth it (I do a lot of endurance) but his power strength is just ridiculous and cancels out every negative with ease. Love nidus, long live the undying infested king

I tried this out and have two main issues: I can't get stacks (and die trying before 5), and I am constantly energy starved (unable to cast 1 to make stacks without a bunch of kills to get orbs). I'm just dead or unable to cast 99% of the time.

Pseudo exalted don't gain combo, the melee you use as a stats tick does. A stat stick is a melee you equip just for its stats to benefit pseudo exalted weapons, such as khoras claw. Exalted melees gain combo in the same was as every other melee, but projectiles that come out of exalted melees like the waves that serene storm creates don't give you combo counter. Hope this helps.

the problem I see with this is how often are the enemies placed in such a way that you can get those stacks super fast? From my experience 9 times out of ten you don't have large groups you can stack nice and neatly. There is usually 2 or three at most and most of the time they are either one shot with a noob melee, or too tough for "smash mouth" play style. ( Which is what nuking basically is.)

Ok so after testing some weapons, Kuva Nukor is a no go. However, Phantasma Prime with blast definitely works nicely. About as good as torid incarnon without the need for incarnon mode and it has a very quick reload.

Tharos strike is imo the best choice. you must not have ever tried Tharos strike with larva burst. With 200 ability strength and molt augmented that's all you need to wipe anything within 23 meters in steel path. You also never mentioned the health regen from tharos strike.

Just throw stynax ability on ur 4th or 3rd and ur good. go 2 then spam 1 and then when u get enough stacks use the stynax ability before blowing them up w 2 again

Really nice build and synergies! I absolutely love Nidus BUT there's 1 major downside when playing in a GROUP late game: There are so many broken frames and weapon combinations. Most enemy types will be annihilated just on sight, that there is no need nor a chance to group anything with larva. That makes Nidus and his playstyle pretty much expendable IMO which is really sad. I mean, be in a group with Xaku or what so ever... u get what I'm saying...

That's one of the major downside of Warframe for me and the reason I've been playing this game only with friends or full solo since Beta (I don't have friends playing WF anymore and not even a clan, so...), My favorite frames are 1 - Volt, 2 - Nidus, 3 - Gauss, 4 - Hildryn, and I have so much fun playing alone, it's way better for everything, I only play online when I want to finish something pretty fast or Archon missions cause I'm a little lazy
