When that hip-check started, all my sorrow and pain came flooding back. I felt that segment. I’ve gotten so negative about the piscines I don’t even carve them anymore and I sell their materials with no hesitation. I then realized that I make a lot of zenny now. About the attack cancel at 5:30, I saw it's happening also with Plesioth. I think because Piscines wyverns in MHFU don't have rage animation, it just go straight to the next attack. You can see the Cephadrome fuming after it does the spin.

YOOOO HEDDY ITS ME! The newbie lol. I watched this video before fighting this dude, and I didn't have enough free time to gather/make sonic bombs, so I thought "Atleast lemme try". I struggled at first because I forgot to bring the cold drink and the sonic bombs lmaooo. But on my second try, I DID IT! THANK YOU SO MUCHH (not gonna lie I was nervous fighting the big guy because of the comments saying they have PTSD from this monster HAHA) I took most my time looking for it when it ran away for the second time, but I eventually found him sleeping with the ankylosauruses (those herbivores) and that's where I finished him off. Following your tips made the fight easier (but it's still hard lol). Cheers mate! EDIT: I just realized that I can fight Khezu now. Now I am pumped up for this. :)

You can use a Hammer to create Loud noises. Just hit the Cephadrome in the Fins and it will immediately jump if you landed a REAL BIG PUNCH!

Haha, yeah it's a bit of a hassle tbh :/ You still have to hunt Cephalos for Piscine Livers, but that's a lot less worse, usually, and you only need to do it once. You have to hunt a Cephadrome in the guild quests though 😭😭 Just a low rank one though, so.

@@sushiibird7799 Sometimes, if you just don't care, the game will give you a rare drop. I tricked the RNG goddess by switching from a Plesioth mission to a Blu Kut-Ku and then it finally gave me a rare drop! Getting a rare drop is easy if you are wearing a Velociprey costume.

I did this one for the first time in years yesterday (playing through MHFU with more hours under my belt - last time, I stopped at Lunastra) because I want to clear every monster before moving on. I didn't look up how to combine Sonic Bombs though. It was pain. Fun fact, in the first 10 minutes of the fight (I needed around 15 because no Sonic Bombs) it attacked me... once. Yeah, sonic bombs are absolutely mandatory. I'm really glad its equipment mostly isn't that great. I need some more fins for a Gunlance though...

i farmed this mf using a mix of Kutku and battle armor, weapon is Black Katana Mk1(i didnt had the hercudrome to level it up, better sharpness tho) and i learned the i always have to bring extra tranquilizing bombs, because ifter hengoes to recover, i often get him woth 3-4 redpills. it just works.

I *suppose* I could go into more detail about this, but I think when I cover Plesioth it'll cover mostly the same things. The main move Cephadrome has is his Cephalos and his tail whip, as far as I can see, besides using sonic bombs to get it out of the ground D:

The guild quests are completely separate from the Elder. Guild Quests are meant for multiplayer, Elder is singleplayer only. You start the game being able to play 1* 2* and 3* guild quests, that's HR1, they're just separated into different tiers. 1* is multiplayer meant for beginners 2* is a bit harder 3* has the key quests that unlock the urgent quest that allow you to rank up to HR2, which grants access to 4* guild quests. In the village, you have key quests in each tier of quests, 1* will have a few, you do them, unlock the urgent quest, finish that, then rank up and now you can do 2*, and on and on and on.

What's the difference between Detect skill and auto tracker skill in armours

Detect skill gives you more information when you've paintballed a monster, specifically, when the ball on your map is Blue it's calm/passive, and when its red it's angry/fighting. Autotracker makes it so you don't have to paintball the monster, shows the same as the detect skill, and shows you what direction the monster is facing (usually) on your map, because it shows an icon of what the monster is. This can also be useful in quests with multiple types of monsters since you know which monster is where, though it's definitely a fringe benefit, I don't usually try to get it myself, just if it's easy to get with whatever armor I'm using, like the Tigrex armor. It's a nice bonus.

Yep, they're needed in 4 combos, you can combine them with Rumblefish to make Thawing Agents Nitroshrooms to make Gunpowder Small Barrels to make small barrel bombs and Huskberries to make Flaming S Also if you delve into the deepest darkest arts of alchemy you can make Fire Herbs out of garbage but eh 😉

Yeah, I'm going to try to get through all of the monsters in about the order that you fight them, so... Gravios is in 5 Star, but Basarios is in 4. We'll see. In general though, try using a water element hammer and/or sleep bombing its stomach. Once the stomach is broken, the fight becomes a LOT easier.

The main reason is it makes the monster inconsistent. If it targets me every time, it's much more predictable. When it starts splitting its attention with me and my cat, it starts getting harder to tell what the next move will be. The other reason is I want to focus on the hunter vs monster experience completely, along with the first reason, this is much easier and better shown if I don't have a cat active. I expect people to use their cats and maybe other tools, and also recommend that, but I wont be for my videos.

I finally finished the G-RANK Mission "The Two Sand Shadows". Both of the Cephadromes are weak to Pierce S and Crag S. Gotta save my Cool Drinks if I wanted to last longer. Good thing I brought my Kelbi Horns if ever my Cool Drinks run out.

Cephadrome and Plesioth are just too easy for a monster for me when it comes to clearing out the Hunter's Funeral solo. Diablos, Tigrex, and Ceanataur are just pure nightmare incarnate. How do you deal with those monsters?

Diablos, LBG with scatter shot, aim for the tail Tigrex, GS, snipe his head with a strong enough one to stagger him Ceanataur, LS, tank hits and focus on his legs, hit the head once it goes down.

just a random mhfu bow main i beat it by buying one gunpowder and one screecher creating one sonic bomb and using the supply items making three sonic bombs so he goes on a counter clockwise direction sometimes changing he stops at 12, 3, 6 and 9 use a sonic boom there and just go on a rampage be careful of the hipcheck tho(but if you're a bow user you're not really in any hip danger) use a poison coating and then a power coating, btw use a paintball by the second sonic bomb so you don't lose him once he escapes once he's sleeping plant a large barrel bomb and uh boom profit it costs roughly 800 for the gunpowder and the barrel bomb that's just my story so good day bois
