I'm not sure about MHFU, but I know in the 4th gen games Gypceros actually has a different carve list for when he's playing dead as opposed to when he's actually dead. You seem to get Dash Extracts way more often when he's playing dead. Of course, the easiest way to know whether he's faking or not is whether you've gotten the "Objective cleared" message. If that shows up, you KNOW it's over. Otherwise, keep attacking. If it's a multi-monster hunt and there are still more to hunt, you can try hitting him again. If your weapon passes through him, he's truly dead. If he bleeds, then he's faking.

😅😅😅 I try to be at least. I like the sort of unspoken understandings you can have with hunters sometimes, like, you see an opening or opportunity, and a teammate helps with it or capitalizes on it etc I know other hunters don't always do it, but also if I accidentally hit a teammate or see what they're clearly trying/going to do (hammer going for the head for example) I'll make sure to stay out of their way, just, you know... co-operating. It feels great when it works. Longsword users get a lot of shit in multiplayer for no reason, I've been knocked down and around more times than I can count by SNS users, GL users, and Lance users. Also Chargeblade and Switchaxe sometimes. I know some LS users can be inconsiderate and LS has a lot of wide sweeping attacks, but I don't usually interrupt my teammates, as far as I can tell, I try to pay attention, at least. That's a good weapon to use against it, it takes a ton of cutting damage to its tail in general. tbh I don't think any Gypceros gear is particularly great, but maybe I'm wrong. From what I can tell, it just seems pretty mediocre, unfortunately.

Gypceros; Being an annoying rubber chicken before it was cool. Jokes aside its armor really helped me with my Basarios and Yian Garuga Farming. Just a few whacks to the head with a hammer and it's all done.

Between Freedom 1 and Freedom Unite which one is the hardest?

Definitely Freedom 1. I'll always think of Freedom 1 being a great and cool game, but that it was extremely under designed. Something like a proof of concept, very playable, but missing a lot of the key features that were really needed, that MHFU added, not just the new weapon moves like GS gaining its charge and SNS being able to use items while unsheathed, but mostly the stuff in between hunts that I think matter the most. Anyways, as far as difficulty goes, MHFU is a bit easier mostly because the controls are way more responsive. For some reason MHF1's controls just don't respond when they should and would in MHFU, along with everything else, such as needing to bring fertilizer and seeds with you in your inventory to the farm to plant it, as well as how long planting it even takes, as well as how things in your item box only stack as high as they do in your inventory, so if you had 99 herbs, that would take up 10 item slots in your inventory, and how you only get 3 pages compared to MHFU's 11...... It's a crazy wild different time haha.

@@llthll Yian Garuga is my bunk buddy whenever I'm bored. Its Armor set is comparable to the Kirin Armor. All of the weapons made from it are imbued with a White Sharpness which is pretty OP to go with its armor set on.

That'd be an interesting match up, they're both kinda resistant to what the other has. Khezu can't be flashed, isn't super affected by poison, Gypceros is resistant to thunder and paralysis somewhat... pretty interesting thought :P

One has no eye sight and the other very little, one use venom while the other is a walking/flying electric eel. It’s situated by the conditions of why they would hunt each other. Larger and stronger dictate the natural order, but Gypceros has the edge with venom. However, ‘resistance’ is not ‘immunity.’

I think gypceros because it’s very intelligent (any animal smart enough to play dead is very intelligent) it will probably see it’s flash isn’t working realize khezu has no eyes and exploit that by flying around in circles around khezu spitting poison and attacking here and there until khezu dies khezu can’t really attack him and khezu isn’t really able to fly and even if it chased him it will probably bump into a wall fall and be vulnerable

If you're using a cutting weapon/lance, yes In the description is a link to a guide with hitzones for every monster. The higher the number the better, up to a maximum of 100, right? Gypceros' tail, when concerning cutting damage, has a hitzone of 90, which is almost the highest it can be 😄

The only 'basic' monster worse than this one is Plesioth, almost all of his attacks have a frame 1 hitbox and there's usually zero wind up to his animations. I remember when i first fought him on the PSP he did the attack where he faints death and i died instantly, it didn't even if look like he hit me at all, since he was stunned on the ground and the hitbox starts frame 1 before his actual movement. I hate these unpolished fights hahah

Well, they won't always, and Vespoids and Genprey can possibly paralyze you which will just get you hit. In later ranks everything does a lot more damage as well, so, you don't really want to be hit by anything, especially if you're a gunner. It takes long enough to flash, you can panic dive through it or try and focus on its tail to stagger it out of the flash.

lol you must be new to the game, that's ok, check at 10:48 I'm hitting its head to break the head. I could do unsheathe attacks on the tail the whole hunt, but that's a bit boring, I want to charge the Great Sword, and I wanted to break the head, if I hit the tail too much, I might end up killing Gypceros before breaking the head. You might notice, at the very end of the hunt, after finally breaking Gypceros' head, I actually start focusing on the tail, though by then it only took one hit. I do, actually, know that Gypceros' tail is the weakest spot, believe it or not. Try to remember that while dealing a lot of damage is very important, it's not always the number one priority.

Make guide fight Shen Gaoren & Lao Shan Lung

On shen use pierce shots. Like Shogun Ceanataur HBG which is actually powerful on pierce, Fire the pierce shots on Shen Gaoren's shells because inside the shell is his weak point. Or you can repel him if the timer runs out but you'll need to do a certain damage to repel him same with lao shan lung, but on Lao Shan I recommend you use Hammer wit dragon Element or Fire Element, hit the belly it's his weakspot, you can also carve his back by jumping on the bridge. You only have 2 chances to jump on his back tho so look out for that. Hope this helps
