Wow the normal crimson fatalis seems a lot more comfortable to fight as a melee than black fatalis with all his flying... But the armor mode does spice things up. Pretty interesting design idea tbh for back then
@xxx_jim_the_reaper_xxx3 жыл бұрын
Black Fatalis is much more chill for melee than Crimson Fatalis. I'm kinda annoyed with C.Fatty's "Armor Mode" shenanigans as a melee user and by which he stalls the hunt for a very long time because of it. White Fatalis is more of a Final Boss because his First Phase was a chill phase where you just go toe-to-toe with him and the Second Phase is just pure Armor Mode and you are forced to use Bombs. The Final Phase is just finishing off White Fatalis before time runs out.

wow this guide its so very good but i have one question..why the nargacuga sword? in my think is best a dragon sword but its a good tutorial
@HeadHunter455 Жыл бұрын
In my guide series we already have it, part of what I do is I use stuff that's either reasonably convenient to obtain and/or strong enough to bother farming for anyways and I try and re use things when possible. I always leave room for people to bring better stuff if they really want, not to mention I can't practically cover every weapon type in the game either, so sometimes there's maybe a better option there, especially on an individual basis. I don't want to make people farm for a dragon weapon just for fatalis, etc. And any one that would be easier to get probably wouldn't be as good as the narga sword, especially doing what I'm doing in the video. Thanks for watching, glad you like it 🙂 Which LS would you use?
@Rip_Unikitty231 Жыл бұрын
A good thing is that I always use the weaknesses and I thought it was better but you have a good point, sometimes there are weapons that are good for a specific monster but they are difficult to create and the idea is how to put yourself in people's shoes and see the most accessible options of weapons and the sword of the nargacuga is a good option because of its affinity but I would use the sword of the lao shang Lung but that's very expensive and the thing is to find another good option more accessible, I understand by the way good tutorial

It's important to learn *how* effective using elemental is as well. If you *just* match elements, you may end up doing less damage than just using raw, unless you just care about feeling like you're being effective, then that's fine too.

I quitted this game cuz of that pal. I don't know why tbh. My last try was around 2 years ago, then I gave up. At the time I was able to defeat Yama Tsukami, Ash Lao, and even White Fatalis which is supposed to be much tougher than the Crimson with large ease solo. Maybe I'll go back to this game and give this dude a final try, it can't be that tough... Right?
@pranavr0y3 жыл бұрын
I found crimson harder than white idk why
@HunDev_PL3 жыл бұрын
@@pranavr0y I mean it sort of depends. I found White Fatalis a bit tougher than its crimson counterpart. White Fatalis is less predictable and does a bit less damage (plus it's annoying but that's sort of normal for it as it is an elder dragon), whereas crimson does craploads of damage but is much more predictable and visibly less annoying IMO. Annoying monsters just tend to be harder than supposedly strong af bloodlust beasts. See plesioth as an example. It is surely much harder than a lot of the monsters you fight after it, but not because it is plain hard. It just has broken hitboxes, therefore is annoying.
@xxx_jim_the_reaper_xxx3 жыл бұрын
@@HunDev_PL So therefore, Plesioth >>> Fatalis However, the only annoying gimmick that comes from Fatalis was its Resilience to melee weapons and also your Sharpness go down faster each time you hit a Fatalis body part other than its head.
@HunDev_PL3 жыл бұрын
@@xxx_jim_the_reaper_xxx That's the only and even, cuz it makes it an incredible pain to take down if you're a melee user like me. That's why I had to learn HBG. It is certainly possible to kill with melee but it takes lots of patience

@HeadHunter45511 ай бұрын
For him to run away, two things need to happen 1. 25 minutes have to pass 2. his hp *needs* to be low enough. Unfortunately, I don't think you did enough damage. He has 20,000 hp in total, and you need to do 4,000 at minimum to repel him, I believe. That being said, you don't *need* to deal all of that damage before 25 minutes. You can deal the required amount after 25 and he should still run away.

For all Fatalis quests except the event ones you can repel it until you eventually kill it. If I remember correctly you need to do 20% of its health, then after 25 minutes they'll run away. The event quests don't have a repel function but should have a little less health to make up for it, I think. Not sure.
@mohdisa.1922 жыл бұрын
@@HeadHunter455 thanks for that...

I would like to add a couple of tips for this fatalis. 1) by bringing Alchemy book you have the opportunity to bring 10 Med monster bones, 10 Ivy and combine them to get 10 extra Large barrels, which can give you 10 extra Large barrel bombs. And by eating for felyne Gunpowder like you said these will also be even stronger. Having the skil Bomber is also great but only viable for endgame sets i guess, early on you probably want other skills like AuL and S+1 for narga weapons for example. 2) by using longsword or any cutting weapon, except from SnS and DBs obviously, you want to snipe the head when he is walking on the spot, and not really massage his body with random slashes. It obviously is more difficult but once you get the timing and positioning right you overall damage will increase significantly. Again i know it is not the easiest way, but it is the best and new players should have this info in mind for future improvement and greater potential. One can either keep trying until he/she gets the timing right or watch other runs , preferably speedruns, to see how other great players do it after putting in enough practise. In order to make him walk on the spot you should stand almost in front of him, so that he will not have to turn and he will start walking on the spot. Other than that two more tips that came in mind while writing these, 3) when placing bombs and when Crimson is enraged, you want to stand southeast of his right backleg, with fatalis facing North ofcourse, just behind it pretty much. That position is safe from meteors no mater what the pattern of them is. In the case of White fatty though that spot is not always safe and there can be a lightning falling there, so if you move on to white fatty after reading this be careful, there is one or two patterns that start from a lightning falling on the right side of white fatty and at some point hit southeast of his right backleg. 4) when you run out of bombs and he gets enraged just keep hitting him even if you bounce off, dealing a liiittle bit of damage constantly is still better than dealing no damage at all for 3 minutes. Just keep staying on the safe spot behind his right backleg and do not hit him when he is facing you and is preparing an attack, because you will bounce and he will be able to slap you or bodyslam, or even worse fly over you and oneshot you. Hit when he bites or turns around, wait for him to do another attack and when it is safe start hitting again. Very nice guide anyway i see a lot of people learn from your videos man, and even though i do not need to watch them they are fun to see and i usually binge eat them from time to time😅. Have a nice day.

Same as Fatalis, you need to deal at least 5,000 damage then after 25 minutes he'll run away, unless his health drops low enough, then he'll die. His health can't go below 4,000, if you repel him at any amount below 4,000, it'll go back up to 4,000 the next time you fight.
@Regular5524 күн бұрын
would you recommend using silverlos set here because of esp and using smolder sword? ._.
@HeadHunter45524 күн бұрын
Quick answer, no Medium answer, you should use clust shots if you want to fight him in his armor mode, you can watch my White Fatalis video for specifics, since he has a more permanent armor mode that you HAVE to deal with: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rXLbm354jrGan5I Long answer, I'll never recommend farming 5 rubies for an armor set, even if it is the best in slot, if I can find something else that works. That goes against the intent of the guide series, which is not to show the most effective way to complete each quest, but a way that is as frictionless and least frustrating as possbile. For what it's worth, sharpness skills are very important, as your sharpness level determines your physical and elemental damage, beyond just making you bounce less. Also, for the same reason, I wouldn't recommend any gear from Lao, as that "fight" takes too long and, IMO, isn't engaging enough for me to insist someone complete over and over. It's kind of like the things that I would recommend are in the section where I show what I would recommend. Alternate answer: If you insist. Sure, knock yourself out. Try to break his head BEFORE the armor mode, then during the armor mode just hit him literally anywhere. Bring 20 whetstones and a full stack of whetfish and all that.
@Regular5524 күн бұрын
@@HeadHunter455 thanks for the quick answer dude xd I already farmed the 5 rubies and made the armor and i insist on using only longsword thats why i asked if it might be worth :)
@HeadHunter45524 күн бұрын
Hey np, yeah if you already have it all, then sure it'd be fine, just be careful and use spirit combo as much as possible and maintain your sharpness for more damage. From what I can tell from the wiki (i've never farmed it, lol) There are 10 open slots. I highly recommend you use 5 of those to get speed sharpening, but it's your call. It's arguably a DPS increase, even if it's not a direct damage buff. I did some math earlier as part of my reply for a couple of weapons (Lion Emperor Saber might be better, but anyways) With AuS from the armor and using the powercharm and powertalon, you'll do on average ~7.2 damage per hit with a full spirit combo during his armor mode. lol. Speaking of power buffs, while you should still eat and should still use power seeds, it only increases your damage very slightly. With power seeds and the food kitchen buff (or mega demondrug, they don't stack) AND with the spirit gauge damage buff of 12%, you're only going up from 7.2 damage per hit to 7.6 per hit, a total of 36 damage compared to 38 for a whole spirit combo. He's got 20,000 HP, I highly recommend you bring bombs and combines for more to help whittle him down when he goes into armor mode as well. Good luck! You got this 🙂
