nice run, I myself could never use CB effectively in 4u, and gu just changed the playstyle so much with the removal of GP into supers, that I never bothered to relearn how to CB

Yeah, playing CB in GU is really painful to me, because they had this wonderful idea to remove the sinergy between Sns and Axe mode, also no more GP into burst is a very questionable choice.

@@kahlan-mh2774I thought I’d try out GU just because I wanted to see what styles and hunter arts were like. GPs and shield bashes not having an opportunity for an SAED after them doesn’t feel right at all coming from 4U. Not to mention GPs almost always going into axe mode whether you like it or not. It doesn’t give you the feeling of actually guarding; they have no recoil at all either and that’s just dissatisfying. It feels like more of an evade than a guard.

I wanna ask, did this games is possible to finished solo? My first monster hunter game is rise then world iceborne, from what I look this games is more difficult to play solo than this two games

Old MH's are much harder because the controls where less fluid and Monsters have multiplayer HP in the HUB section (even if you are solo). But all main line MH games doable solo, you will need more perseverance in older ones.

Poor adept CB, never gets any love from speedrunners :S

I love adept CB actually, it's so much fun. But sadly the 20% axe attack bonus on striker (compared to 15% on adept) is something you simply cannot overlook on a speedrun. Also the fact that you can have Readiness for sharpness+Chainsaw art on striker is really important for dps. I mainly use Adept when I chill on the game.

Late but, you use a switch emulator and use the 60 fps cheat for a cha cha real smooth experience

Huh so that's how you play CB in doublecross. Time to watch more gameplay of this style and relearn the weapon once I get a battery for my 3ds. (3ds because i dont have access to my switch but i have MHXX patched on 3ds) Fucking awesome gameplay though
