It's rather small in size, graphics aren't straining for most 400 dollar laptops, emus for them aren't tedious to use, still fun even though slower(mhfu). So, Yeah!

@@roguerangerroger I think MHFU and MHP3rd are great first games for anyone interested in playing the games because the barrier for entry is pretty low 😄 Even considering Rise and other MH games have some demos here and there.

Note: To unsheath directly to sword mode you can either; *R + triangle* (will go to sword mode _ONLY_ if you're not moving). For moving sword unsheath go *Move + R + Circle & Triangle.* Now I don't know if it works like this for everyone but I tried it and it ends up working this way. Also, cool mixed armor for low HR: G. Jaggi Helm + Faulds G. Baggi Armor + Arms + Legs Skills: *Attack Up M* with just one _Attack Gem 1_ (Jaggi needs 3) OR *Attack Up L* if you slot in six _Attack Gem 1_ (one in your weapon.) If you use full Jaggi set you will need _Attack Gem 2_ which uses *2 gem slots* to get Attack Up L, takes a while for Low HR equipments. *AND* you'll get _Recov Spd +2_ (red hp bar recov spd, useful for not needing to use as much potions) without needing to slot any gem.

Im LS main, been using only LS for years, yesterday i realize how boring it is, then im trying using SA in the training quest, its amazing! i feel in love with it, like im literally killing G. Jaggi in under 5 minute and its only takes couple hits, ive been only using LS for years never realize how good other weapons are, now im trying to get good at it, thanks for the guide

Its the opposite for me. I always get confused why my switch axe doesnt do an elemental discharge but then after watching this, I was performing the wrong inputs. I do tri + circle then pull back the analog stick and spam tri but thats only the input for world and not p3rd lol

Dammit, my first ever save file in this game was pretty much Swaxe exclusive but I eventually got bored of it because I wasn't too good with it. Watching this video makes me want to start a brand new file just to play the game from the beginning with swaxe. Great videos as always heddy!

something it took me a while to get in 4U was that one button press = two wild swings but you had to press it 3 times for it to keep chaining into another two swings. this made figuring out when i could evade out of the swing a lot easier. not sure if this is relevant to p3rd's switch axe though.

Never quite understood how the swaxe works. Been mainly using the Hammer cuz Ya know it can do everything except cut tails. Will give this a try, I do prefer hammer for fast opponents, but I'll see how it goes

I'm a bit of a single minded baboon when it comes to MH weapons - I like when weapons have clear limitations and strengths that I can learn and get used to and transforming weapons run counter to that in my mind. It ends up adding unnecessary complication, and dilutes my focus. I honestly wish the series had a proper axe only weapon by now, as Sword Mode, to me, feels like a GS weapon wannabe. If I could create such a weapon (a true axe), I'd combine the axe modes of the Switch Axe and Charge Blade. That would be really something.

Excellent guide as usual. Perhaps you should do HH next? Out of all existing weapons it got the biggest rework in gen 3 and it's the most difficult weapon so I think it deserves to be covered early.

If you're on a controller like I am, you use your index on R and lay your thumb on Triangle and Circle (or Y and B since I'm using an xbox controller, but I always use the PSP controls to hopefully avoid confusion) If you're on a phone, I believe you can make a macro or something in order to press all three buttons, but unfortunately I'm not terribly sure how that works since I don't play on mobile. You could maybe check in the Hunsterverse or my own discord for some help, I know a handful of people play on phones, hopefully that helps 🙂

Ive been re playing this game and mhfu. Idk rise is good and all. But the 2nd and the 3rd gen have some charm that the latter gen didnt have. Such as preparation before every hunt and such. Some people might find it chore. But for me its the thing that makes the world of monster hunter unique...

If the monster eats meat, you can use it when the monster is drooling/tired.
