And you will memorize the move's/Pattern's to be a expert: 1:first encounter a monster to memorize 2:you will memorize the weapon combination and see there behavior and poses you will memorize there move's 3: if you have a great sword you must memorize the perfect time if the monster is charging and attacking you must charged/block if you want to know the attack second memorize the second and you will let them stop giving you the time to attack 4:if you use lance you will have to distance/shield yourself so the time will have your chances 5:if you use switch axe you have to attack and dodge rapidly so you can break the part of it use a charged switch axe and use the charged bomb to make the part break easily more than 1 or 2 minutes This for pro's and memorizer's to become the great or expert

I really would change GS for Bow. Bow have the various arc shots that cause so much damage. You have to train the distance, but it's cool when you learn. GS I just can't hit the majority of monsters xD. Lance is good too, when you learn that ir turned a counter-attack weapon.

Twin blade for max evasion (you have to use your *monster wisdow* though.) Late game max evasion light bowgun sniper is also satisfying using all the ammo i didn’t use. Nice review 🎉

As a Gunlance main, Idk why but in multiplayer all the enemies aggro towards me, my friend whose a long sword main and is always the closest to the enemy never gets detected unlike me

In early MH games the Lance is actually god tier. It has the best damage in a limited amount of time and the defense capabilities are very impressive. I used to main CB before i discovered how amazing the Lance truly is.

I would put hammer on the top tbh. High damage output, low skill floor, KO, stuns, and relies on pure raw... My kill times are mostly faster with hammer than other weapon. I would atleast put lance on mid or above-average tier. It doesn't deserve low tier just because the movesets are not visually-appealing. It's pretty solid and versatile and still does the job done with the right play. The most crucial part of using lance is being good at positioning and timing to maintain continuous damage. You should check lance speedruns on MHFU. The only difference of lance from mhfu is it doesn't have counter stab. Tbh LBG is pretty ok even with normal shots only which isn't expensive. Bow also... Well HBG deserves to be on the bottom, very disappointing... it used to be great on MHFU but they nerfed it. SNS got buffed in this game but I don't think it deserves on top. It's versatile and simple but the main problem on sns is it's lack of reach and the it's quick to burn sharpness. It's lack of reach makes you more vulnerable to chip dmg and makes you unable to connect higher hitzones.

Bruh the lance is much better than that, specially from 3rd gen, the "charge" is not meant to be used as charge like the GS or hammer, actually, that is a parry. It also has a forward step with the shield that works to use it as heavy parry too and start a full combo from that. And don't forget you can run againist the monsters, doing a chain attack (which can be infinite if you use powerjuice) that ends in a powerful finisher. When you actually learn to use it, it's much more powerfull and interesting than what you saw superficially, it's actually a weapon with which, if you have enough reflexes, you can take advantage of how rough the monster is to parry it, constantly attacking it and chasing the monster with the charge if it tries to escape from you. It's different from other weapons that has to run from the monster attacks sometimes, when other weapons do that, the lance penetrates with the shield and parry to start a combo, taking a bigger risk if you have low stamina and not good reflexes, but being much more exciting if you learn to domain it. It may not be the fastest or most powerful weapon, but it is the most CONSTANT, and the little it can do it does in an excellent, exciting and satisfying way if you know how to use it.
