I’ve killed fatalis many times but I killed him for the first time solo lance… and DAMN took me a few tries. Poking fatalis is not easy

All the meta-strats are complicated or cheesy. I learned all its moves, put fortify, 5 guards, defensive guard, and guard up and when he carted me I came back stronger. I stood before it and counter my way out with the 1 minute left on the clock. I also fainted 2 times, lol. 1 from the second nova because it was too far away and I didn't get to the gate in time, the second time was also a nova because I tried to charge toward it but got stuck on a ledge like an idiot. I count this as an absolute win.

I also learned that when it does the cone if you stand in the mine there are higher chance of it doing a second cone and when it slaps if you do the shield advance but backward and follow up with the long hop back that's a guarantee cone.

Going to give ya a few tips for lancing fatalis the guard dash of the lance function as an upgrade block it allow u to go through 2 of fatalis moves that usually eat much more stamina and cause knock back if u just standing block the forward flame breath and the the ground flame geyser for advance players they constantly use those moves as attack boost for offensive guard ,as for when he body slam its better to ready clutch claw counter than just blocking it due to it turn into a free attack opportunity or you can just jump off after have it function as quick sheath it also trigger offensive guard,lastly have you tried to use the move guard dash+leaping thrust repeatedly?saw you caught by the flame shower at 11:08 thought u could just got out of that by doing the repeated guard dash+leaping thrust it doesn’t consume as much stamina
