Use farcaster. To restock if max potion empty. And. The quest leader. Use ghillie mantle. And heavy artillery skill on your armor not mantle.. use palico to help load cannon. Positionn the cannon 2x. And then. Fire. This only takes 2 to 3 minutes. But you will damage fatalis for 4000 damage.[ This damage many % if solo ]With heavy artillery. And then farcaster to change armor. And. The scene where the handler is teaching the Guild Hunters how to put on and use The Slinger Gauntlet and Clutch Claw are there because that's new to them. They never had that kind of tech in the Old World (Old Games) which makes it more than just a gameplay material rather a story of innovation within Hunter's Guild's branches.

This is interesting to see what it’s like to face Fatalis for the first time. My first attempts looked pretty similar, I was just getting completely whooped. It reminds you of how far you’ve come after learning all of his mechanics. He’s very difficult especially at first when you don’t know any of his moves

this is a fight u take seriously, he has 3 phases to the fight, and has a one shot mechanic similar to safi's. if u mess up even for a second, ur dead. use the dragon pods when u can, if u fire 2 at him it will stun him. just remember he has 66k health when u fight him solo, and 171k health when u fight him with 4 people.

I’ve actually survived his hellflame so it isn’t an instant kill like safis unless you’re talking about an attack I haven’t seen yet. I survived the hellflame attack twice with like 15-20% hp remaining. At a certain point of the attack it throws you on the ground and all you have to do is abuse the invincibility you get from being knocked down to survive it. Super man diving also helped me

The key to fighting fatalis for 1st time LISTEN to what the Handler, Commander, etc They telling you what to use , how to weaken it, how to kill it. They even showed where the weapons are. 70% of MH community will be at this for awhile. Lol

HELPFUL TIPS! When he does the cone breath attack you can punish his head but dodge right when he gets up to avoid the sludge exploding. (U can also avoid it by hiding behind the rocks) He also only does the cone attack when he is up on his hind legs. And with the lines of fire always dodge forward. You want to position where his head would be if it were down (helps avoid unnecessary cartz). Your palico would be more useful using the sheildspire so you can have time to heal. Breaking his head should be top priority as it lessens the effect of his breath attacks later in the hunt. Each stage is a damage threshold he novas after a certain amount of damage is dealt to him. Tbh more forgiving than alatreon on that regard... he just has a metric ton of health to get through. Thats rlly the only issue once u know his patterns.

This may not be right but from what i can gather is that you should wall bang him only when hes on all fours, that way you can deal the most damage to his head. Don't waste the wallbang if hes standing up otherwise you'll do far less damage to his head

You’ll need 1000-1100/1200 defense. Anything below 1000 is a no-go Also, gunners take more damage than melee, so if you’re using a ranged weapon you’ll die a lot more easily

Me and My friends beat him last night and the thing that I love about him is that he rewards aggression. Most of his move-set it safer if you are under him. He has some punishes to take care of that spot but on most of his attacks you want to be on his back legs. Second is that pure damage isn't really the way to win this fight. It wants you to use the siege weapons as they knock him down and give you openings. Plus the fight actively punishes you if you cannot break his head meaning you need to use tenderizing and wall bangs well. Alongside using his chest trip as a way to lower his head for damage and a wall bang. Its a hard fight we needed almost all of the 7 potential carts we had but we had a blast. Hopefully you can get it down and beat him.

it took me 30 something restarts and 7+ hours just to kill that beast of a thing in about 26 minutes. I couldn't even get the second hornbreak with partbreaker 3 (1+2 on mantles). Not gonna try that again for a while. Had to make a weird ass long sword build on brachy/alatreon just to make it remotely comfortable.

tito fauzan yeah it is. I was using alatreon LS with 2 brachy and 3 alatreon gears. The biggest helper skill was heavy artillery 2. A skill I never really use except vs. Zorah. The roaming ballista created much needed openings to cope with the 30min. time limit.
