There's a lot of monsters who you can predict like that. Anjanath has a bunch of little things that once you are aware of them you can queue up a lvl 3 hammer swing and aim at nothing but air... until .5 seconds before your attack comes out and Anja just turns his big head straight into your attack. Deviljho kind of as well, but he's way more spazzy than Anja so it can be harder to predict.

Can someone answer me on this - how do you do the charged tier 3 smash when you're not charging your hammer? I don't see you "infuse" the hammer with charge at any point

I do infuse the hammer tho, once after the rock drop and then a couple times after I put the second mantle on

I wouldn't recommend using it, its effect is too bright and too big so it'll block your sight of the monster, which makes positioning really difficult. Of course that doesn't mean you can't use it, but it could make you rage from time to time. Use at your own risk.

Evasion mantle proccing? Agitator active? Non ele boost? Weapon augments? Monster enraged meaning it takes in more damage? There's a lot of possibilities for deviation, maybe test em one by one because if the builds are similar you should be doing about the same damage.
