Marco Mendix lol, female armor just looks better really, male armor is so clunky looking and large. Although some female armor sets are over sexualized way to much *cough cough kirin* *cough cough*. But remember, fashion hunter in this game is totally a thing

Scott Miller Fashion Hunter is the very reason why I only use male characters. Most female armor sets are UTTER GARBAGE to me. Expecially the sets I happen to use the most. The head part is usually the ruining factor most of the time. Their over-sexualization is the last problem actually.

The only reason why I played a female character during the beta is that all the 6 male presets were ugly. While for the females, there were one (the brown short hair) who was cute. Since I'm ugly in real life, I wanted to be good at least good looking in the game.

Yeah. We gained a mobile Roundhouse Slash (guard point) and more importantly Ultra discharges no longer consume your shield buff, where as in 4U we mainly stuck with Super discharges. The Sword discharge is a neat mini nuke too.

New to MHW and just got the quest to take this guy down. Maining the charge blade(Dear Lutemis) and I wanna know, does gear affect mobility? I know I don't move this fast through my rotation. Most of the time I struggle to keep my sword and shield charge and this just looked easy for him. Is it my skills? I've been playing for about 25 hours I believe.

For starters, Master the positioning in fighting monsters. Every weapon is OP, timing and position is everything in this game.

JayJayXIX There isn't so much a weapon tier list - rather for new players, there are weapons that are much easier to use than others. Recommended for beginners: Sword and Shield, Longsword, Greatsword, Hammer, and Switch Axe. Afterwards, you can probably try these out once you have a grip on the game. Insect Glaive, Charge Blade, Lance, and Hunting Horn The remaining weapons have very specific strengths, and are better off in End Game items, or if they have elemental statuses. Dual Blades - Since element damage isn't victim to /motion values/ - (certain hits deal more damage than others), they deal full damage of an element every time. And since Dual Blades hit rapidly, they output one of the best elemental damages in game. Gunlance - While a lack of Counters and three-evades are a major problem, they are a fun weapon nonetheless! They output great damage all in all, and it gets paired much better with certain /Shot Types/ (Normal [Does best with Unloading] Long [Does best with Wyvern's Fire] Cone/Heavy??? [Does best with regular shelling) Bow - Low Maintenance weapons with a few needed skills to really see absolute domination! [In end game of course =)] Skills such as Charger reduces the time needed to charge LVL 3 shots, Normal Up increases damage of the Normal Shot [which is essentially the best type of shot], and other damage increasing Skills make the Bow a formidable end game weapon. Light Bowgun - A support weapon at heart! If you want to defeat monsters as quickly as possible, you'll need individual Light bowguns that cater to their elemental weaknesses. That, and the slew of ammo you need to keep in stock in your inventory is a pain! Plus all the other Skills that make it even better! Heavy Bowgun - The bigger cousin to the LBG. This uses less Elemental shots, and more explosive and damaging shots. While much simpler to maintain, while also having a higher total damage output based on Normal Shots and Piercing Shots, their downfall comes to their mobility. You'll be facing much faster monsters End Game, and it'll be a pain to lug around a gun you can barely evade with. So pick up Evasion +2 while you're at it!

JayJayXIX for starting players, Best DPS weapon is the Greatsword (personal opinion). Try the Hit-and-run tactic. Works on every monsters everytime

The axe is the key to the run actually. The entire plan is to toss out as many ultra charges as possible. That just means you're not in axe form all the time, even though you're using it.

Strider Roshin Its just Rainy's skill. A weapon is only as good as the player. A good example is comparing many general players vs skilled player. General players outweigh the skilled in anygame for most want to just play casually but not really learn anything. Some people may think this is easy, but until they try it, they realize that this skill might be beyond them until they practice. I've been playing for years so compared to most of my friends, what takes them almost 40min to kill something, i do it in about 4 to 7min. But in the end, most will play for fun rather than dive deep into a weapons potential and utilizing it optimally.

TheSoldierChristian using whatever is fastest is almost always the most popular. Cause where would you draw the line with items. Traps, might seeds, mantles, flash/sonic bombs and potions are all items and are all used regularly in speed runs

It makes it that the sword apply phial damage as well, which meant that it can help in stunning the monster. I guess it's useful since every bit of additional damage can help.

i will probably not main charge blade in mh world because the axe mode is completly useless and the best way to use that weapon is to spam the SAED. i mean its good dmg but boring to play. Might go back to insect glaive which is a bit weaker but more fun to play.

SoLuna No traps or bombs, or items in general. Though I'm fairly sure flash bombs/pods are accepted. Demon drugs and pills that affect attack are allowed too, same with def though it's not used. Skills like adrenaline are banned, but that doesn't matter here.

I like how people are saying it takes time to master so its not op, what? 1 day is all it takes ok lets say 3 to take allllll moves ( guard points, phials and shit )in your 🧠 then destroy stuff with a blindfold I mean most weapons are OP tbh idk why people complain so much or is it the genre?
