It will take a world filled with objectivity and integrity. Robert Redford could do that but he obviously used Freddie to enrichen himself when he was no longer famous using Freddie's incredible fame. How many Americans (Hispanics) or of other ethnicities do you know Anglos ( mostly from other countries) take an interest in raising them to fame with the same standards as they as artists? Schwarzenegger made it bcus he was married to a rich Kennedy! Pure envy, jealousy and racism

He was and is amazing. But I have question these interviews with his daughter who wants the money. Freddy Fender was pure and honest. He didn't perform for the money, he performed because he wanted all of us (gringos and Mexicans) to hear his music. Like so many children of successful parents, she just wants to ride her father's coattails - for the money

Spanish was the second most spoken language in the US during the time of Freddie Fenders rise to fame. It opens up a world unknown to a sleepy hollow world that refuses to see the contributions that Hispanics have made amidst the radicals who are blinded by self loathing and antagonism. This man like innumerable country Angelo singers who were never castigated for drug addiction was imprisoned for carrying weed in his car in Louisiana 2 yrs. He worked hard as a mechanic never forgetting his dream after his imprisonment but a forgiving God catapulted him to fame to becoming a successful world renown millionaire in the walk of fame among innumerable awards and accolade working even with remarkable movie stars like Robert Redford. Legacy:He said he wanted to be remembered as many artists, human who was flawed but who lived a life of gratitude whose life that had become regretabble but in the end devoid of past mistakes making a contribution as best he could while he lived in his humble but truthful and honest history. The daughter acts with shame bcus of his mistakes but nearly all Anglo country deceased singers used drugs and alcohol never apologizing yet continue to be idolized. Freddie was honest and a saint for repenting to a worst sinful world.

I know about the wives I seen that story was a story about Freddy Fender and he named his wives and named the children, but we never hear anything about them the other children.

She is wrong ! Freddy Fender's music was not R&B or soul music ! His music is American Tejano, country and rock and roll !
