I’ve lived in Topeka for the last 18 years, so I've been to quite a few Washburn games. I've been to Emporia for one game (in 2008), & that’s because the visiting team was my alma mater, Augustana from Sioux Falls, SD. Augie only lost that game by 13, but they won the next year in Sioux Falls.

I missed this one. I’m glad it showed up in my feed. I dated a woman in the early 2000s, that graduated from Pittsburg State University. She was enrolled there when they won a national championship. 1991 I think. I was living in Joplin at the time when I dated her. I used to love going to Pittsburg. Nice town.

Really enjoying your reviews of the stadiums across the world!! Your sense of humor is great! Even when the stadiums are really bad, you refuse to say anything truly bad. You just move on! 🎉

I always enjoy your videos. On this list, I think that Carnie Smith Stadium where the Pittsburg State Gorillas play is the best looking one on this list. I really like how they have it set up. And your zingers really crack me up.

Spratt Stadium (Missouri Western State U) and Chad Richison Stadium (U Central Oklahoma) are really nice stadiums! I agree Richison takes it for the waterfall feature. Pittsburgh State is good but need to refurbish and get rid of the track to be top of the conference imo. The others aren't great and could do with being made football specific but pretty impressive when one considers this is Div II.
@dwightanderson8331 Жыл бұрын
Chad Richison is the CEO and founder of Paycom and a Central Oklahoma grad who gave most of the money to renovate the stadium. He will probably contribute more in the near future. There had been talk of increasing capacity to around 20 - 25 k in a bid to get a pro soccer team to Edmond but it didn't happen.

@@dwightanderson8331 I'm in Saskatchewan and would have NEVER known that about Central Oklahoma! Thank you. I know college football but the big schools. I had a friend that visited Missouri and Oklahoma this summer and I told him if he sees Red "OU"s bumber stickers or flags that means U of Oklahoma and if see Cowboys or orange and black OSUs that is Oklahoma State. I don't think he really was catching on but when I visit the States I love how in many states almost everybody gets into the spirit. But I don't know much about small schools. Thank you for the information, have a Happy Christmas!!!

The stone masonry is very common in the midwest, especially among Work Progress Administration (WPA) buildings built in the 1930s. You'll see a lot of buildings around college campuses with the stonework in them.
