Notice the top ten ranking came when Miami was playing a SEC team in Lsu which most people thought would beat Miami. The high ranking wasn't for Miami, it was to make Lsu look better when they won. 🙌

Exactly Miami has only been preseason ranked 5 times since 2007 and in two of those seasons finished 10th and 18th in the final CFP poll, so out of 16 years only 5 "hyped" and 2 of those years lived up to the hype. So the right answer is 3 years in the last 16 has Miami been overhyped in the preseason.
