Even if she gives her friend the benefit of the doubt, I'm pretty sure that if the defendant is convicted, she'd most likely cut all ties with said friend/defendant. She would be doing her job, and she might not even accept. Just because someone is friends with such a person doesn't mean they should be looked into. She's probably just as shocked as everyone else.

I think she meant the “legal” age of brain development is 18-because I had this same 🚩in “fact reporting”. What’s interesting as we continue to study this, is that 25 is only now the accepted defined aged, but is not limited to the age of 25-suggesting that some people may continue to develop past that age or have delayed development… kinda like a bell curve in development. It’s quite fascinating.

She's not the judge that is handling the case and most likely just hearing the arraignment. She may be one of the view judges to do arraignments in Miami where the other judges hear the actual case and hear the trial. Not the case for all courts but for large cities it's often the case. She most likely goes through hundreds of arrangements a day, whereas this trial will most likely take months and be presided over by her actual judge.

Yeah while the psychologist is indeed predatory, and should be locked up, the 15 year old undoubtedly went along with the behavior and had no parental supervision whatsoever. The fact she left the hotel room at 6am the next morning is absolutely insane, because it indicates her parents are horrible parents, and that the 15 year old was seemingly unconcerned about her own decision making. Messed up case.
