You need to check-in to the country if you're coming from outside the Bahamas. Once your customs and immigration obligations have been met, you can island hop as you like, bearing in mind that some islands are privately owned and do not allow visitors. If intending to land on water or beach the aircraft -- obviously something you'd want to do with an A5 -- it's a good idea to have naval tide charts with your EFB. That way, you don't beach the aircraft at high tide for swimming, etc., and find yourself beached as the tide has gone out. The same applies for water landings; we want to ensure that we land in areas that are deep enough for us even at low tide to avoid awash rocks or bommies.

Tamer Kiykioglu The Icon A5 has a fuel capacity of 27.2 kg. It uses octane 91 which has an energy density of 47.9 MJ/kg giving it a total energy of 1300 MJ. The best lithium ion battery has an energy density of 0.9 MJ/kg. To get the same range, this plane would need a 1,444 kg battery (3180 lbs). For comparison, the engine of the icon A5 + full fuel + all other gas components is at most 100kg (220 lbs). Replacing the engine with a battery now would bring the aircrafts 345 mile range down to about 7 miles. So, even at a 10%/yr battery improvement rate (which is generous for the 5-8%/yr average) it would still take about 40 years to make this plane electric with the same range.

I think the word rich is thrown around too much in things like this. You do not need to be rich to own an Icon, you just have to be comfortable and have a substantial income. $250-300K a year you would probably need to have to justify to have an icon does not make you rich. The icon is the price of an executive home in many markets, so you need to be able to afford the equivalent of second home in the 300's.
