Miguel Piñero aka Esteban Calderon (always mis-spelled in the credits) Played the character so well because he himself did Time for Armed-Robbery,etc.. Turned his life around after serving his time by playwriting the life he grew-up around in N.Y. to show others/young-teens crime doesn't pay.. Sadly passed away a the age of 41 , 3-4 yrs later after this episode due to medical complications.. R.I.P.

I always loved the way Angelina peaked around the corner @ 1:38. My all-time favorite episodes were the ones dealing with Calderone - the season premiere, when Sonny was #8 on the hitman's hit list, this one, when Tubbs had the $1 million bounty on his head and the final one when Tubbs went to the Bahamas and Orlando tried to kill him. It was an ongoing storyline that I loved.

That was the edited version of the shooting. The first time this episode aired, Calderone literally does the dance of death as Crockett basically empties the entire magazine of the sub-machine gun into him. For some reason, future airings of that episode had a trunkated death scene.

@kalreeve
@kalreeve 2 жыл бұрын
@@Sifo_Dyas Dude, you are insane if you think actors don't care about stuff like that, especially lead actors. Many are extremely egotistical about stuff like that. It was reported months ago that Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson each tried to have a say in how many punches their characters landed in their fight in Fast Five so one didn't come off looking weaker than the other. Don Johnson was known back in the 80s for being an extreme egoist/narcissist. Even his co-stars acknowledged his massive ego in a Rolling Stone article that came out when Miami Vice was huge. So him pushing for plot developments/story choices that benefited him is not an outlandish suspicion. Try to know the show's history before talking like some kind of authority.
