Here’s what they talked about. Apparently, according to Crockett- He,Evan Freed, and Mike Orgil worked together in narcotics. Mike was discovered to be gay/homosexual. Evan and his buddies found it, and started harassing, teasing,bullying Mike. Sonny never did anything, but he did know what was going on. He was really close with both guys back then. He tells Tubbs the story, and that Mike Orgil walked into a loaded shotgun and allowed himself to be killed. Originally, Tubbs says to Crockett, “Sounds like a brave guy.” And Crockett immediately responds with, “It was suicide, Tubbs.” Sonny felt tremendous guilt over Mike killing himself, and not confronting Evan about his bullying behavior. Evan also felt the inner-guilt. Therefore, he sacrificed his life, to save his old friend, Sonny Crockett. Perhaps, to atone for past behavior, and finally be forgiven by Mike and Sonny.

I have read that there is a dispute over some of the music. Kinda sad. Every human has flaws. To show Sonny Crockett as having some difficulty dealing with a friends homosexuality shows he's a flawed human. Have also heard the use of the F word might not be cool today.

The rights to music used in TV shows sometimes doesn't included the use in syndication or re distribution in another format (digital, blu ray, dvd). This episode features two prominent Peter Gabriel songs, at the beginning and at the end, and I suspect that it is those song rights that keep the episode from being seen.
