I remember watching this when it premiered.. and sitting on the edge of my set! The only thing I wish the show would have done is let Crockett and Tubbs go at it for a bit. Can you imagine, these two great cops, best friends (by this time, they're pretty much brothers.) fighting with this music playing in the background!! I getting goose bumps now just thinking about how emotional that would be for the fans! But I understand that what the writers were really saying is that no matter how far sonny had gone, he could never hurt Rico, his mind wouldn't let him do it.

They didnt even know how good this show was & how it would shape future action thriller movies.....were talking about a low budget TV show better than the movies on every week...it was Miami Vice or MJ bulls on wgn every Friday night for Free God.....I MISS THOSE DAYS

LowER budget than motion pictures but certainly not low budget for a television series. Quite the opposite. MV was the most expensive program on television at the time.
