There might be three small marketing problems here. 1. Why would any building want to be associated is an ICE car compnay in decline? This seems a bit strange. 2. Daimler-Benz admitted its links with the Nazi regime, google it yourself. Maybe this appeals to boomers. 3. Lastly, I don't think i would want to be associated with some sort of "label" or "brand name".... i think there is something to be said for understated luxury..... something this isn't. This reminds me of the Thatcher quote, "Being powerful is like being a lady. If you have to tell people you are, you aren't.”" Nonetheless, this is a beautiful residential building in a beautiful area.

The condos' intended clientelle are status-seeking and flashy with their wealth; they want everyone to know they have money. It's the same thing going on in Dubai with luxury car-branded apartment towers coming up all over the place. European luxury car brands are still synonymous with luxury and wealth, so many people find it rather appealing to live in such a branded apartment tower. People will automatically think you're a big shot if you tell them you live in the "Mercedes condo." And this actually seems to be working. In Dubai, such branded towers are selling really well.

1. The company is not in decline. After COVID the sales are increasing again. 2. So what? Do you know that was 80 years ago? There is not any Nazi regime today. Many big german companies had links with the Nazi at that time, because it was not possible to survive wtithout working at least a little bit together with the government. And many big companies in other countries had links with their own dictatorships but they don't admit it officially. 3. Most people want to be associated with brands, or why do you think brands are so successful today.

@@RK-bx1by i think you are probably right. there is also a very impressive "Ashton Martin" condo in Miami. seems to be a very nice building. my rich friends and I all agree with your sentiment. we would never want to call attention ourselves for merely having a lot of money. nothing better than understated luxury.
