Sam is and has always been my favorite. There is so much depth to his character. His heart is so big and he tries so hard. But like so many others, it is those very qualities that lead him, not really astray, but into making poor decisions that he later has to overcome. And overcome he does. Hate to tell the Dean fans out there, but Sam IS the prime character of the show - just watch the credits - Jared Padelecki is listed before Jensen Ackles and that is NOT because his name comes first alphabetically (First, at least). It's because of billing. If you go back and watch the first five seasons, it's very clear that it was the arc of how Sam was born into a destiny he never asked for, and managed to defeat the Devil, even though it took his own life. Though even I would have hated to see it end there, the true power-house story-telling was encapsulated in that.

Every challenge he has faced breaks him and makes him stronger for it. The true hero of the story. And something tells me that when Season 15 ends, Sam would sacrifice himself to save everyone. Everything ends eventually and if I am right then Sam’s story will end like any heroes story would. Dying with his head held high and a smile on his face as he finally finds peace

Got to 1:35 before the tears hit. I am late to the party, but can I just say how beautifully, brilliantly unparalleled this is? The colouring and the parallels and the music and the scenes and just ugh. It is a masterpiece. Sam Winchester is so much more than what most people seem to see him as. Ever since that first episode, ever since Jess’s death, tragedies have been piling up and up around him and he blames himself for that, only himself. He has been through so much, through literal hell, and he struggles with that and carries that with him every day. It’s the most humanising, heart-wrenching quality about him.

I relate to Sam so much in this video. And watching how willingly he is to sacrifice his life after, and after is so comforting and discomforting at the same Time. I recently went through a break up. This is awesome 👏👏👏 this may come out wrong, but we don't get enough collections highlighting Sam's strengths and admitted weaknesses. He's not afraid to be human, remember his humanity, fight for those he loves and the ones he's saving, always standing up for what he uncompromisingly believes in, and constantly sharing his heart. His strength in these areas is Dean's anchor and keeps the 2 of them grounded on their true jobs...saving people. Without Sam's heart they could easily have turned darkside like Gordon. Even when possessed by angel, demon, or Lucifer...Sam never lost Sam. He is amazing and loveable. Thanks Mia for showing these character strengths so beautifully as you always do. Jesus Christ, this gave me chills! Sam is my favourite character on Supernatural. I am so glad I found your channel. I am devastated I only started watching the show this year. I PROBABLY HAD TO GO TO BED, BUT SORRY I HAD TO SEE IT EVEN IT END UP KILLING ME XD AND IT WAS TRULY AMAZING!!! SO YOU CANT CONVINCE ME THAT THIS IS A MESS !! I MEAN THE PARALLELS ARE KILLING ME... LIKE LITERALLY KILLING THE ALL "I AM FINES" JUST BREAK MY HEART CAUSE HE IS COVERING UP HOW HE REALLY FEELS. AND ALL THE EMOTIONS SAM HAD TO GO THROUGH THIS EPISODE.... MY POOR BABY SAM :( BUT JARED NAILED IT!! HIS PERFORMANCE WAS JUST AMAZING THIS EPISODE!! AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE TWO JACK/SAM SCENES. I AM SOOO GLAD THAT THEY EXPLORING IT MORE!! I AM GLAD THAT SAM IS STILL THERE FOR HIM AND REALLY WANT TO HELP HIM GET THROUGH IT. OH ALSO THE SCENES WHERE HE REALLY TEARS HIMSELF UP FOR EVERY THING HE SCREWED UP.... I AM CRYING!! *DIES* WHYYYYYY DO YOU ALWAYS KILL ME??!!! HAHAHA XD THIS VIDEO SHOWS HIS GROWTH THROUGHOUT THE SEASONS AND HOW HE ACCEPTED HIMSELF MORE AND MORE. GOT STRONGER EVER SINGLE TIME. WITH SAYING NO THE THINGS HE DOESNT STAND FOR. ALSO THE FACT THAT HE WILL DO EVERYTHING FOR HIS BROTHER!! AND WHEN HE BELIEVES IN YOU. HE WILL GO THROUGH EVERY LENGTH TO HELP YOU. I HOPE WHEN HE SAID "THERE WILL BE NO NEW KING OF HELL". THAT HE SAID IT BECAUSE HE DOESNT WANT ANYONE TO TAKE OVER CROWLEYS ROLE. I REALLY HOPE THAT THERE WILL NOT BE A CROWLEY 2.0 THIS SEASON ;O BUT BACK TO THE VIDEO. YOU DID AN AMAZING JOB. YOUR SAM VIDEOS ARE ALWAYS ON POINT AND I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO SEE THEM. *OHMYGOD* _thE FEELS_ I'm sorry, but this is one of the most beautiful freakin' videos that I have seen of our Sam. You showcase his struggles so, so phenomenally well; and the parallels! Oh God, the parallels! Especially in the beginning of, "I'm fine," in which are so obviously lies. It breaks my heart, yet it _shatters_ it when you follow it up with all of the times that he actually admits he's not okay. Sam clearly is not eating (14x01 he turns the food away he's given) and sleeping. Thus, this is one of my favorite videos of him, and amazing job!!
