Highsmith had 52). Danielle Hunter and Maxx Crosby led the NFL in TFLs with 23 apiece (Watt was 5th with 19 which is also great). And TJ was 12th in Pass Rush Win Rate(16.9%) and 7th in Pressure Rate(16.7%). Myles Garrett, Micah Parsons, Nick Bosa, Aidan Hutchinson and Josh Hines-Allen were the only 5 players to beat Watt in all these categories (not sacks/TFLs). In fact when you look at all this information and the fact that he didn't have any players nearly as talented to play alongside (Alex Highsmith, Cam Heyward, Markus Golden - who was pffs 16th highest rated edge rusher in 2023) I think I just made the case that Josh Hines-Allen was the actually the one who was robbed of 2023s Defensive Player of the Year Award!!

sack is only as good as incompletion with extra pain, it only decreases a down to the offense. pressure gives your secondary chance to make interception, creating instant turnover.
