Did not know her, I'm from the U.S. but together they were great. No one has a voice like, Michael. Love him to death.

Well sung by both. Love her version with Engelbert. Dusty fell in love with the song and wanted to record the first time she heard it. After letting Dusty hear it first, writers informed it had to be offered to Motown first as they were under contract with Motown. Too bad Motown didn't let Dusty have it. That would have been a VERY nice thing for them to do, a real "THANK YOU." After all, Dusty did a lot to help introduce the Motown sound and artists to England. The one that got away.

Wasn't this her final TV appearance before her premature, tragic end? The greatest.

She could sing half the phone book Michael could do the other half and it would be a hit

Dusty could sing the "Phone Book" and she'd own it...and I'd buy it! Along the way and through the years, she lost a lot...the peaks and valleys in her life would have toppled a lesser woman...but through it all, Dusty never lost her incredible voice. This is 2015, and to me, she is still THE best singer the world has ever known. Elton John said it best at her induction into The Hall of Fame...Dusty took each song and made it hers. She did that and more. I very rarely like, nor do I listen to, remakes of most popular song. For me once a person has a tremendous hit with it, they own it and it's theirs forever. It is a true rarity that anyone else can do it justice BUT...then Dusty Springfield steps up to the mike and blows my opinion right out of the water! There is simply nothing that woman couldn't sing or do better than anyone else. Time and time again she has proved that fact. I have adored that voice from the very minute I heard it back in the early 1960's. That's a lot of years... and the love goes on and on and on.

So true. My top favorite covers are "Since I Fell" , "Always Something There to Remind Me," and "To Love Somebody." She only did them live I think. Think she really enhanced those songs taking them to another level. They were all prior huge hits with terrific vocals.

Yes, at this time she thought she "beat" the cancer and was in remission. It came back shortly after promoting what was to be her final studio album. 😥💔
