I HAVE some great blues rock in my collection, but this is right up there, this performance by MICHAEL BURKS is beyond incredible, the depth and feel of his playing and singing is so so good, the tone and sound is just brilliant, such an underrated player that will be missed by all blues rock fans that know their music, guitar playing and singing at its very best!!!

he was a great guy and he let me and my friend sit next to him while he sign autographs. he was happy to see that people my age just barely 20 were really interested in the blues.

Saw him in '06 in a small club and he talked to me and my friend for near an hour after the show sharing great stories. He was truly the tops.

My dear friend and beloved King of the Blues left this earth on May 6 2012, He was and always will be one of the greatest of them out there and so sadly missed by so many who knew and loved him, myself included. R.I.P. Michael. I hope they have a lot of Jack Daniels in Heaven for you my dear Brother. God Speed and God Bless. Your friend forever, Spiderman.

I got to meet Michael a few times at the bike rally in Laughlin, NV. He always remembered my name and always had a big ol giant bear hug for me. I miss that man so much already. One of the greats for sure. R.I.P. Michael. You will never be forgotten and may your awesome music live on forever. Shedding a little tear here.

Michael was passing thru customs in Atlanta airport after arriving from European tour when he collapsed and died 2-3 weeks ago. I was fortunate to have heard him play many times, but I'll always remember him jamming with Shane Dwight in the Mojo Kitchen after the Springing the Blues fest 2011...what a treat that was. So sad to lose Michael Burks...such a quality blues artist.

the keys player always sounds great on a red nord in these live videos. But in this one playing a real old school electric organ, he sounds absolutely AMAZING!

THE finest bluesman alive today....Michael K. Burks. I take it this song is Burk's version of the Led Zeppelin song of the same name? Burks guitar work is so superior to that of Page's, it's beyond amusing.

Not the same song at all. He's a better blues player than Page IMO, although Page had better originals
