What’s the Donald Trump hush money prosecution going to do with Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer who’s done prison time for tax evasion? That’s the question posed to Ximena Bustillo, NPR politics reporter, and criminal defense attorney Michael Discioarro, who tells “On Balance” prosecutors may have to “walk away” from Cohen on some points, but also must persuade the jury that Cohen is being truthful on the stand. That, say the panelists, could give the defense the opportunity to successfully discredit Cohen.
