That jury worked very hard, listened and paid attention for seven whole weeks, missing their jobs, their pay, their families - and Trump disrespected them by sleeping. There was more than enough evidence to convict him on all counts. An appeal will not succeed, as the judge was very careful to be more than fair to Trump. The judge also did not commit any errors of law, which are the only basis for an appeal to succeed. So forget about it.

Statistically, the jury pool would have been weighted toward a higher number of registered Democrats who would be politically biased against Trump. Yep, you clearly watch FOX and didn't pay attention to the coverage of the trial. The DA presented witnesses and EVIDENCE that backed up their testimony that conclusively PROVED Trump committed the crimes he was charged with. The Trump defense was WEAK and Trump could not testify because he would have LIED on the stand, leading to charges of PERJUY. The jury in this case had no choice except to convict Trump because the EVIDENCE SCREAMED GUILTY. See, in the United States, that is how the justice system works. Trump should have faced Lady Justice long before now.
