Trump didn't use the Trump Organization comptroller to show where the reimbursement was, which means the handwriting by Alan Weisselberg is true by Trump's admission in a court filing. That means a $420,000 retainer is actually $180,000 in reimbursement for 2 expenses as well as the $180,000 loss by Michael Cohen for stating that it is income as well as $60,000 severance for Michael Cohen so that Trump could claim it was a retainer. Why would Trump do this? He's hiding the reimbursement. If Trump is claiming they are rogue, then Trump should be attempting to reclaim the money as he is claiming that the money was for something different. Trump didn't press charges, and Trump didn't try to get the money back.

Without him saying he didn't do it and offering another explanation he's just counting on jury nullification. Also, you can't plead the 5th any time. It's only relevant to court testimony. Not talking to the cops is just the right to remain silent which predates the 5th amendment. Also, if you plead the 5th and it's not based on you not wanting to incriminate yourself, for instance if you refuse to answer to not incriminate someone else, that's perjury.
