Paul always used this discussion in the completeness of "his gospel" in all his letters. Paul sees the mission to the gentiles as their emancipation proclamation from the Elohim of psalm 82 and Paul details how 1 Enoch is fulfilled. Just look at Romans 8:28-39 "more than conquerors" why might angels or powers, or any created thing try to separate us? Don't conform to the world, voluntary humility to angels, Ephesians 6 could be read side by side with Enoch and psalm 82.

HEISER doesnt have answer there.Its deep nd spiritual and not dependent one ones scholatic ability.Seed of Cain may have passed thru Noah ark to present world so how did God save Noah for he was without blemish or contamination of seed of serpent.Son of noaH did not carry the seed of serpent as they had Y chromosome form Noah (bible calls them son of N).So there had to be second contamination of humanity post flood. secret in Enoch book.

Just Because we see a continuation from Pre flood to Post flood, of the Corrupted, Seed, does not automatically reduce the answer to "had to be". This kind of logical rendering is obviously in Error, for it precludes, or, makes impossible for any other conclusion. There is a better way to conclude, how this happened. Consider what was Judged?, and what was "NOT JUDGED". I humbly present to you that "THE WATER" was not being judged. To me, then, it becomes obvious that the Corruption simply took advantage of the Water being the very means by which a corrupted lawless bloodline could survive such a Judgment. In other words, to me, it seems far more likely that these "Lawless ones", somehow by adapting to the water, were able to keep their bloodline continuous. I present this to you as a more plausible conclusion, that does not prevent all other replies as....." there had to be"… does. This is humbly and sincerely given in peace, however that does not in itself mean that "I'm right".

All you have to do is go look in the far past..at what these people were building and who they worshiped. Prime example the Aztecs knew more about astrology then one can imagine! The name of their temples etc. The Titans of the Greeks!

It seems Michael is saying God's council in heaven had a part in creation as in "let us make man in our image" spoken in Genesis? Colossians, book in the New Testament, chapter 1 says referri ng to Jesus the only begotten son of God created "everything" including angels. God the Father,Jesus God the son, and God the Holy Ghost are the "we" of creation. The Bible does not say others played a part in creation.

I respect Mike Heiser, but Enoch is quoted and referred to dozens of times and literally has entire new testament concepts built on it. Jesus even refers to men becoming as the angels and angels not marrying as "scripture" in Matthew 22. That's stuff we only know to be in 1Enoch. I think it's canonization needs to be reconsidered.

I agree also, knowing well who and when and why all these writings of knowledge, historicity, and great revealings must be removed from the “common man's” access to truth. These kinds of writings becoming widely known and easily accessed would surely remove with great prejudice the “Ruling ones” ability to deceive, control, and make, merchandise of the masses. This simply could not be allowed. So, they, ” The very Imperators Imperial” made their Imperial Mark!, by reducing a Living, and fully Colorful writings to basically a reduced black and white manuscript, being comprised of now only 66 books, and without all the supporting writings. Adds little? If you read the Old Testament with the Genesis 6 account in mind then it takes on a whole new meaning. The REAL meaning . The mindset that mankind was genetically contaminated to thwart the birth of the promised Messiah to the point of only 5 people left with 100% uncontaminated DNA ( Noah, his wife, Shem, Ham, and Japheth actually ) the wives being somewhat contaminated, mostly Hams wife . The contaminated blood coming through the flood in the wives. Read the Old Testament with attention payed to the specific names of people and places and see the unfolding of the continuation of the Genesis 6 encounter which then included the nation of Israel in the control and elimination of the returning evil bloodline. ( adds little to actual theology ) it adds everything. It opens all the doors.

Heiser false teacher on this unseen realm and this divine council theory he came up with. After reading this post if readers would share thoughts of what Moses meant by "Many Generations". I tried posting this kind of information on Mike's channel multiple times and he or his team never responded. Genesis 6 & Deuteronomy 32 Explained sons of God Heiser is correct when he said it should be sons of God in Deuteronomy 32:8. Heiser was a word guy the Hebrew would be >>>>(בני האלהים‎, bənê hāʼĕlōhîm>"Remember the days of old". Since Mose wrote Torah, the first 5 books of the Bible, which are Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. These "days of old" that Moses mention in verse 7, what Moses is doing is taking the reader back to the Pre-flood time period. Taking Verse 7 (Remember the Days of Old; consider the years of Many Generations;) Can 100% be applied as "sons of God" in Deuteronomy 32:8 as well as Genesis 5 and sons of God in Genesis 6. All makes sense and fits with the Author of Torah who is Moses. The argument is, is that there No Abrahamic covenant yet, that is 100% true when a person applies verse 7 (Remember the Days of Old; consider the years of Many Generations;) it is more clear and plain to see who the "sons of God" are in both Deuteronomy 32:8 and Genesis 6 Nations are named after a father in scripture. Abraham is considered a father. Jacob (Israel) is the father of the twelve tribes. Explaining sons of Israel. Exodus 4:22 says "Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord, Israel is my firstborn son". God is speaking to Moses in this passage, also this is another book of Torah. The passage of scripture of the name change for Jacob to Israel Genesis 32:28 "Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.” Israel (Jacob) had 12 sons which would be 12 tirbes with Many Generations. Getting back to Exodus 4:22 says "Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord, Israel is my firstborn son". Since Israel was the "firstborn son" to the Lord God, which would means Israel/Jacobs offspring would be "sons of God" or also to say "children of Israel" The twelve tribes are as follows: Reuben, Simeon, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Benjamin, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Ephraim and Manasseh. See how many Generations came from Isreal (Jacob) Even the following verses of how the "Text" allows for "sons of Israel" . Deuteromony 32:9 'But the Lord's portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage. 10 “He found him in a desert land, and in the howling waste of the wilderness; he encircled him, he cared for him" Clearly verses 9 and 10 is talking about the "sons of Israel" which would be Jacob's 12 sons/tribes, key words in the text Jacob alotted heritage (Israel). "The Lord's portion is his people" Israel was the Lord's Chosen people The 12 tribes were the ones wondering in the desert land which verse 10 is talking about. That is WHY there is such a debate in the text, both sons of God and children of Israel had "Many Generations". Heiser's divine council of super angels Can Not or Do Not have "Many Generations" Even looking at Psalm 82:6 "I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you;" The word "sons" is used in the Plurality, which would be referencing that the "sons" are human pretaining to the 12 tribes of Israel (Jacob's sons). The word "gods" Jesus answers that in John 10 also human. Heiser taught gods/elohim and sons are non human, Psalm 82 is his foundation for his false divine council of super angels. These 12 tirbes (Israel) had the Law of God to govern the people. Elders/Rulers/Judges (gods/elohim/divine council) were part of that governing authority. Nothing angelic (Nonhuman) could govern the people. So naturally Humans are getting scolded in Psalm 82, not anything Nonhuman like angels or spirit beings of a divine council. The "divine council" are the Chosen people of God who given the Law of God. Also had the True Prophets of God. The proper way of interpreting the scripture of Deuteronomy 32:8 whether it should be sons of God or children of Israel? Well which came first the Patriarchs/sons of God, of Genesis 5 and 6 or 12 tribes of Israel, of course it would be the Patriarchs/sons of God which are listed in Genesis 5 with "Many Generations" the longivity of life spans that they would have seen "Many Generations" and did lived old ages. This is ALL in Context, Context Is King!! Have to remember when scripture was first written there were no chapter breaks or verse breaks, that was added later in English Translations of scipture. Small summary, Moses tells us who the sons of God are with Remember the Days of Old; consider the years of Many Generations in verse 7 would be Applied to sons of God. Deuteronomy 32 7 Remember the days of old; consider the years of many generations; ask your father, and he will show you, your elders, and they will tell you. 8 When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. Clearly this is NOT about a divine council of super angels. This Heiser guy did NOT understand verse 7 (Remember the Days of Old; consider the years of Many Generations;) or Context applied with proper Hermeneutics. He WAS a Blind and False Teacher of scripture when it came to Application, but he was correct in the Translaton of the words sons of God in Deuteronomy 32:8.

So why did the "sons of god" see the "daughters of men".... have such a distinction to separate "men" from "god" giving the impression they are two different "personalities?" If the "sons of god" are in fact men, why not specify this? Jesus was both the Son of God and the Son of Man but was more a part of God, the Trinity, than man. Where do the Nephilim fit into your theory and later the sons of Anak who occupied Canaan as the Anakim? How were the race of giants created if not for non humans who spawned something other than God's image as "men" were created to be? I'm staying with Dr Heiser on this one and calling him an outright "false teacher" doesn't serve you well. There are too many questions in your theory. WHO are the Nephilim?

The Greek Septuagint is in ERROR, becasue it put angels in the text of Genesis 6, when it should have when it should have remained sons of God, reason why is the Greeks believed that the pagan god Zeus (king of the gods), married and impregnated mortal human woman Alcmene and she gave birth to Hercules. So a person can see instead of Zeus, that angels was the thought in the Greek Septuagint, So naturally Alceme became the daughters of men in Genesis 6 and Hercales became Nephilim/Giants in Genesis 6, all because of Greek Mythology. This all happened in the time period of the years when God never spoke between the OT book of Malachi the prophet and the NT book of Matthew the apsotle. This time period is called the "Silent Years" The silent years of the Bible are the period between the prophecies of Malachi and the life of Jesus. This period lasted for about four hundred years, from the 5th century BC to the 1st century AD. During this time, no new prophets were raised and God revealed nothing new to the Jewish people. The silent years are also known as the Second Temple period or the age of Hellenistic Judaism. This time period was also the period of the Greek empire, which means a language shift is happening, so the NT would be written in the Greek language. What came with the Greek Empire and language shift, the Greek Mythology came along with it, and was INSERTED as the thought of Genesis 6. Some say the Mythology came from the Genesis 6 account, it is actually the other way arround, the Mythology was INSERTED into Genesis 6. That is WHY the Greek Septuagint, has angles in the text of Genesis 6, this also affected and influenced other uses of sons of God in the OT like Job 1, 2 and 38. In the book of Job the NIV translation uses angels instead of sons of God, the translators INSERTED angels which is the Wrong interpretation. Origin #2 The book of Enoch. The book of Encoh was also complied in the time period. The older sections of 1 Enoch (mainly in the Book of the Watchers) of the text are estimated to date from about 200 BC to 300 AD, and the latest part (Book of Parables) is probably to 100 BC. The book of Enoch is just a Jewish Myth, or to call it "Fools Gold". The book of Enoch is a pseudepigrapha book. Watchers in the book of Daniel 4 are NOT referencing angels, the Wathcers and Holy ones are the Father and the Son of the Trinity. The pseudepigrapha are the books that attempt to imitate Scripture but that were written under false names. The term pseudepigrapha comes from the Greek pseudo, meaning “false,” and epigraphein, meaning “to inscribe,” thus, “to write falsely.” The pseudepigraphical books were written anywhere from 200 BC to AD 300. They are spurious works written by unknown authors who attempted to gain a readership by tacking on the name of a famous biblical character like Encoh. Another example a book called the “Testament of Abraham” has a better chance of being read than the “Counterfeit Testament of an Unknown Author.” While the pseudepigrapha may be of interest to students of history and ancient religious thought, they are not inspired by God and therefore not part of the canon of Scripture. Reasons to reject the pseudepigrapha are 1) they were written under false names. Any pretense or falsehood in a book naturally negates its claim of truthfulness. 2) They contain anachronisms and historical errors. Looking at a major contradiction with the book of Enoch CONTRADICTION #1 Using the Book of Enoch chapter 7 (sec II) verses 10-14. 10. Then they took wives, each choosing for himself; whom they began to approach, and with whom they cohabited; teaching them sorcery, incantations, and the dividing of roots and trees. 11. And the women conceiving brought forth giants, 12. Whose stature was each three hundred cubits. These devoured all which the labour of men produced; until it became impossible to feed them; 13. When they turned themselves against men, in order to devour them; 14. And began to injure birds, beasts, reptiles, and fishes, to eat their flesh one after another, and to drink their blood. Verses 10 & 11 in Enoch sounds like Genesis 6:1-4. NOTICE in Book of Enoch 7 verse 12 it is written “Whose stature was each three hundred cubits.” 300 cubits (3,000 ells) when converted into feet is 450 feet. This so called offspring is 450 feet in stature. Some Translations say 4,500 feet in stature, REALLY?!?!?! So where did this 300 cubits (450 feet) come from? It just so happens this exact measurement is found in Genesis 6:15. Genesis 6:15 “ And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.” Interesting that the LENGTH of Noah’s Ark is 300 cubits or to say 450 feet long. What the Fable book of Enoch does is take the Length of the Ark and apply it to the stature of this offspring. Offspring that are 450 feet in stature. Why believe such nonsense.
