MJ gets a...weird rep, understandably so as with many hyper-famous people. But, when it come to just music, MJ was a damn stud. He understood how to use the medium to move people, no doubt. All the other issues or whatever you want to call them notwithstanding, he really was a brilliant musical mind.

I've only heard aaf version once when it first came out, and they performed it live on madtv (I think). A few weeks ago, I was scrolling on fb and came across the actual music video and saw how much thought they put into it that I had to look this interview up, and I'm glad I did.

Learning english in a french school I heard a million times that the h isn't silent in english so it always surprises me when natives pronounce words like homage or honour like there's no h

@@theozamparo Australian here, homage definitely uses the h sound, and I'm 99% sure it's across all English based nations except the US. (I'm prepared to be corrected on that of course). Honour definitely does not use the h sound though. Neither does vehicle, but some Americans will argue with that. The main thing with English is that it's derived from about five different languages, rolled into one and adapted over time. Unfortunately that means some grammar rules apply in certain situations and not others, even when they obviously should. My original comment was basically a joking dig at the Americans, but you've raised a good point 👍
