I went to a concert of his in 1988, in L.A. I was about 24 I think. Best Day Of My Life. I screamed so much, I lost my voice for about 5 days! I remember passing out too, I think. God, I love this guy.

Do you know the audio/music/vocals on these concert clips are dubbed on from Wembley 15th July . From a multitrack they did at the wembley show . The only songs on this documentary not dubbed with wembley audio are the Yokohama songs that werent performed in 1988 , like Off the Wall, Things i do for you etc... because they couldnt.

@MJJ can't remember sorry bid. Notice how different the mastering is on that 16th audio too. Imagine how much better of a sound mix wed have gotten of the right guy had been allowed to work on it. He knew how to mix. He knew how to make the drums sounds and blend in , he knew how to use compression etc. He knew how loud the synth bassines should be Neen during WBSS and Thriller. We got fucked. Such a waste. The drums on most songs sound like a child is one, aging them yet we know it's not Ricky Laws on who is at fault. The guy who moved it had zero mixing experiencing I feel. The guy it who owns and recorded the audio should secretly legislation own mix and just claim that the never came from him. They can't prove otherwise. The sexiness was ,oat when they left to that other random guy and his basic software. Also the electric guitar part that happens throughout the song of HBH can barely be heard yet in concerts that was loud. You're supposed to be able to hear it. The "Neaaaow Neeeeoaw" part that just places consistently, one slightly highly than the other. God I wish I could get that multiracial. And the CD album versions are mixed differently. Not better, not worse, just also wrong . Lol

@mjj120 ok. The mixing is so different to what we got given by sony on dvd and cd. They really messee up the levels of instruments...different amounts on the CD mixes vs the Dvd too. And the drums sound atrocious. Just big slappy bang bangs. They needed a pro engjneer to apply the right compression filters on them to make them sound more part of the overall sound. They stand out like a sore bum! The mixes on this mtv doc were a tad better but still not ideal. The mixes made by the sound engineer who recorded the 3 concerts were best IMO. But he didn't have a say in the Sony releases.
